There are seasons in ministry when resources seem scarce, yet God's work continues to flourish. This year has brought significant financial challenges to ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ก๐š ๐‡๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ. (๐Œ๐‡๐Œ๐๐ˆ). At times, the road has been difficult, and the needs have appeared greater than the available support. Nevertheless, we have witnessed once again that the mission of Christ does not depend on the abundance of earthly resources but on the faithfulness of His people and the power of the Holy Spirit.

In ๐Š๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ง ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ ๐Ž๐œ๐œ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ, our dedicated missionaries have remained steadfast in proclaiming the everlasting gospel. Refusing to be discouraged by financial limitations, they continued visiting homes, conducting Bible studies, praying with families, and sharing the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

Working hand in hand with ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ˆ๐ฏ๐š๐ง ๐‹๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ, the evangelistic efforts have borne precious fruit. Through the united labor of the local church, volunteers, and MHMPI missionaries, many individuals made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Hearts once burdened by sin have found forgiveness, and lives have been transformed through the saving grace of Christ.

This mission reminds us that God's work is never hindered by a lack of finances. When His people faithfully answer His call, He opens doors that no one can shut. Every soul won for His kingdom is a testimony that the gospel continues to advance despite every obstacle.

As we celebrate these victories, we also recognize that much work remains. Countless communities are still waiting to hear the message of salvation. We invite our ministry partners, friends, and fellow believers to continue praying for our missionaries and supporting this mission so that more souls may hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

May this testimony encourage every believer to trust in God's provision and remain faithful to His commission.

โ€œGod is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.โ€ โ€” Psalm 46:1

One unforgettable afternoon, our scholars Loren, Raymond, and the rest of the ministry team traveled deep into the mountains after receiving an invitation from an Ibaloy family. The invitation came from a newly converted Ibaloy brother who had recently lost a loved one.

Among the Ibaloy tribe, it is customary to gather, eat together, and perform rituals for the dead. But this new believer desired something different. Instead of continuing the old practices, he wanted to use this solemn gathering as an opportunity to share the truth of Godโ€™s Word and the doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church about the state of the dead.

As Raymond and the team prepared for the journey, one of the church elders volunteered to drive the vehicle. But along the dangerous mountain road, something terrifying happened. The vehicle suddenly lost control and fell into a deep mountain cleft , a fall high enough that no one expected to survive.

Inside the vehicle, everyone cried out to God for help.
When the vehicle finally stopped at the bottom of the cleft, the team could hardly believe they were still alive. In the middle of the wreckage, they prayed together and thanked God with tears in their eyes. Humanly speaking, survival was impossible because of how high the fall was. Yet God was there to save them.

The passengers later testified that during the fall they felt something they could not fully explain, as though unseen hands were holding and protecting them. Surely, it was the hands of God.
By His mercy, every passenger survived. Though some suffered minor injuries, not one life was lost. What amazed them even more was that the vehicle itself did not suffer major damage despite the dangerous fall. It was another miracle that left everyone in awe of Godโ€™s protection.

Later, many tribesmen came to help haul the vehicle out of the deep cleft. As they saw the car and realized that every passenger was still alive, they were shocked and amazed. To them, it was more than just survival, it became a testimony that God is alive and still performs miracles for His people.

What makes this testimony even more powerful is that after the accident, the team still chose to continue the mission. They pressed on to the mourning familyโ€™s home and shared the gospel message with the gathered Ibaloy people.

The message deeply touched many hearts.
For generations, these Ibaloy families held strong beliefs about the spirits of the dead. But as they listened to the truth from the Bible, many became amazed and enlightened. Questions were asked. Hearts were opened. Interest in the gospel grew stronger.
What the enemy may have intended for harm, God turned into a testimony for His glory.

Today, Raymond, now a 3rd year Theology student, together with Loren and the rest of our scholars, continue reaching souls for Jesus in the mountains and far places. Their commitment reminds us that the gospel is worth every sacrifice.

Please continue to pray for our scholars and our scholarship program. Pray that the Lord will continue to bless our limited funds so we can support more young people who will someday become pastors, teachers, and missionaries for Christ.

Please also continue praying for MARANATHA HELP MINISTRIES PHILIPPINES INC., that God may continue to use this ministry powerfully in preaching the gospel through its scholarship program. May more young people be trained, equipped, and sent to different places to bring hope, truth, and the message of salvation to many souls.

Last May 9, 2026, heaven rejoiced in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental as 17 precious souls publicly surrendered their lives to God through baptism after the evangelistic efforts of the MHMPI missionaries.

These newly baptized believers came from different Christian denominations. Through the powerful presentation of the Word of God by the gospel workers under the district leadership of Pastor Ivan Lester, many hearts were touched and amazed by the truths revealed from the Bible. Day after day, people gathered to listen, study, and seek Godโ€™s will, until finally many decided to fully commit their lives to Christ.

This successful evangelism became possible through the united cooperation of Maranatha Help Ministries Philippines, Inc. (MHMPI), the district brethren, dedicated gospel workers, and Pastor Ivan Lester. Their prayers, sacrifices, support, and tireless labor became instruments for God to reach souls who were searching for truth and hope.

But this mission does not end here. The work of spreading the gospel continues. This coming June 2026, another evangelistic series will be conducted, with the prayer that more souls will come to know Jesus and accept His saving grace.

We humbly ask everyone to continue praying for the upcoming evangelism that God may once again pour out His Holy Spirit, touch many hearts, and lead more precious souls into His fold

With hearts full of gratitude to God, we proudly celebrate the success of one of the scholars of Maranatha Help Ministries Philippines, Inc., Alvin Untalan, for passing the 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)!

Alvin made history as the first Hanunuo Mangyan Tribe member in Mindoro to become a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT). From the mountains of Mindoro, God opened the doors for him through faith, prayer, and the support of people whom the Lord used for His mission.

Through the ministry of MHMPI, Alvin was first sent to Northern Luzon Adventist College to study Theology. After finishing his theological studies, he later took Education units to qualify for the LET examination, and today, by Godโ€™s grace, he has achieved this milestone.

This testimony reminds us that God is faithful to those who trust in Him. What once seemed impossible became possible through His guidance and provision. Alvinโ€™s journey is not only a personal victory but also an inspiration to many young people from indigenous communities that dreams can be achieved through faith, perseverance, and education.
