In Loving Memory of Mia 🌈🐾

Mia, our beloved senior cat, was rescued from Tutuban Station in 2022 together with her kittens, Riri, Nini, Blue, Pio, and Rea. She was given a second chance at life and surrounded with love. Sadly, Mia passed away in early 2026 after battling an illness.

Run free, sweet Mia. 🌈🐾
No more pain, no more suffering.
You were deeply loved and will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

Our hearts are broken as we remember Miracle, lovingly known as Mira. She was the only surviving kitten from rescued Mama Cali’s litter—a true little miracle who brought so much love into our lives.

Mira was just over a year old when she passed away on August 31, 2026, after bravely battling illness for many months. Although her life was far too short, she was deeply loved and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Run free, sweet Mira. You fought so bravely, and you will never be forgotten. 🌈🤍🐾

🤍 In Loving Memory of Nanay 🤍

August 31, 2026 🐾🌈

Nanay came into our lives as a rescue, but she became so much more. She was loved, cared for, and given the chance to experience kindness and know what it felt like to have people who truly cared for her.

Sadly, Nanay was tragically taken from us in a hit-and-run. 💔 Her sudden passing broke our hearts. She deserved more time, more love, and many more peaceful days ahead.

We will always remember her gentle presence and the precious moments we shared with her.

Run free, Nanay. 🌈🐾
No more pain, no more danger. You were loved, and you will never be forgotten.

Please, slow down and brake for animals. They may not understand the dangers of the road, but their lives matter too. A few seconds of caution can save a precious life. 🐾❤️

Update: Gerald's Rescue Under ALC Fostering 🐾

We're happy to share that Autumn, (we named her together with other rescues Summer, Winter and Monsoon) is doing very well! Autumn has started eating wet food mixed with goat's milk and is already using the litter box like a pro. ❤️

Autumn still doesn't like drinking water on her own, so we're carefully keeping her hydrated using a syringe. She's also taking multivitamis to support her growth and recovery.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support ALC's journey. Every rescued kitten deserves a chance to grow up healthy, safe, and loved. 🐱💕

🐾 COMMUNITY CATS FEEDING TIME—HELP US KEEP THEIR BOWLS FULL! 🐱❤️

Look at these disciplined community cats patiently lining up and waiting for their meal. They may not have homes of their own, but through the kindness of compassionate people, they are regularly fed, cared for, vaccinated, spayed, and neutered—and they are never forgotten. In return, they work tirelessly as our community’s natural pest-control team, helping reduce the presence of rodents and snakes. ❤️🐾

The La Marea Animal Lovers Club (ALC) welcomes sponsors who can help us provide:

🐾 Daily cat food
🐾 Vaccinations and medical care
🐾 Spaying and neutering (kapon)
🐾 Rescue, fostering, and adoption support

You may sponsor regularly, provide a one-time donation, or donate food and other essential supplies. No contribution is too small—every meal and every act of kindness makes a difference.

Help us continue caring for these community cats and give them the safe, healthy lives they deserve. To become a sponsor, please send us a private message. ❤️

Feed with compassion. Care with commitment. Save lives together.

🐱❤️

This precious little kitten is the newest rescue being fostered by the La Marea Animal Lovers Club (ALC).

Over the years, we have rescued many newborn kittens. Sadly, despite our best efforts, we were not able to save them all. Every loss was heartbreaking, but each experience taught us valuable lessons about caring for fragile and vulnerable kittens.

With everything we have learned, we are hopeful that this time will be different. We pray that this little one will survive, grow healthy and strong, and thrive under our care. 🙏🐾

If you would like to support his journey through sponsors, fostering, or future adoption, please send us a message. Every act of kindness—no matter how small—can help save a precious life. ❤️

Goodbye, my little ones.

Your lives were far too short because of human cruelty. You were taken away from your mother and thrown away while she was out searching for food. To some people, your lives may have seemed insignificant, as if you were nothing more than trash. But you were not.

I hope that, in the short time we had together, I made you feel safe. I hope you found comfort in my arms as I held and cradled you. I miss the way you followed me everywhere, as if I were your mother.

I tried my very best to save you. Though I could not give you the life you deserved, I hope I made you feel loved, important, and cherished. I hope that, even for a brief moment, you knew what it felt like to be cared for and protected.

Run free now, my little ones. You were loved, and you will be deeply missed. 💔🐾 03 AND 04 June 202
