Last September 7, 2025, the Crecencia Drucila Lopez SHS Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council actively participated in Linis Lawa, a clean-up drive at Sampaloc Lake, together with fellow Red Cross Youth Councils. 🌊🧹✨

This meaningful activity not only helped restore the beauty of our environment but also strengthened the spirit of volunteerism, unity, and service among the youth.

Wikang Pambansa: Puso ng Ating Pagkakakilanlan

“Ang pagtanggap sa ating wika ay pagpapalusog sa ating kaluluwa; ang pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika ay pagtataguyod sa puso ng ating bayan."

Ngayong Agosto, ginugunita natin ang Buwan ng Wika na may temang: “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa,” isang panawagan upang payabungin ang wikang Filipino at ang mga katutubong wika bilang kaluluwa ng ating pagkakaisa.

Hindi lamang ito buwan ng paggunita, kundi buwan din ng pagpapahalaga. Ang Wikang Pambansa ay higit pa sa salita; ito ang kaluluwa ng ating pagkatao at tagapag-ugnay ng ating pinag-isang diwa. Sa bawat bigkas, lumalalim ang ating pagkakakilanlan at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Ipagbunyi natin ang yaman ng ating wika at ang mga katutubong wika na nagbubuklod sa atin. Nawa’y maging buhay na simbolo ang ating wika ng ating kasaysayan, kultura, at pag-asa para sa hinaharap.

Sa sabi ni Manuel L. Quezon, 'Ang Wika ay Kaluluwa ng Bayan.'
