Last August 14, 2026 before the lights, the photos, and the actual showcase, there was a little bit of fixing, lifting, adjusting, and a whole lot of teamwork. 👀🤝

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at DLSP ALIW as we put our booth together for the “Mini Exhibition under SSP at GSO 2026! “ 🛠️✨

It may have started with a banner, but getting it up took teamwork, patience, and a few “okay, saan natin ‘to ilalagay?”moments. 😭

And after all the adjusting and assembling… ALIW made it happen! 🎉

A small setup, a big team effort, and another memory to add to the beginning of our journey.

​DLSP ALIW had the privilege of attending the 2nd Session of the Public Hearing at the City Government of San Pablo, Laguna. Our 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝘅. 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗩. 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘇𝗺𝗮𝗻, alongside the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗧. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼, represented the organization during this significant legislative step. Together with the 𝗗𝗟𝗦𝗣 𝗚𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗣. 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼 and the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗗. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗦𝗜𝗧.

​The hearing focused on the proposed ordinance aimed at further strengthening and amending Ordinance No. 339, Series of 2025 the "San Pablo City Anti-Discrimination Ordinance on the Basis of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE)." This proposed amendment seeks to institutionalize the San Pablo City Pride Development Plan, establish a Diversity and Equality Development Officer, and introduce additional mechanisms for community equality.

It's time to roll up our sleeves and work together as one DLSP community! On 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟒–𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, as part of 𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐏 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚, each college will take the lead in cleaning and preparing its designated areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the opening of classes.

This is more than just a cleanup activity—it's an opportunity to demonstrate bayanihan, teamwork, and school pride. Every sweep, every effort, and every volunteer contributes to making our campus ready for another meaningful academic year.

Coordinate with your respective College Student Council for your assigned schedule, venue, and activities.

​This critical piece of legislation seeks to further strengthen and amend Ordinance No. 339, Series of 2025, otherwise known as the "San Pablo City Anti-Discrimination Ordinance on the Basis of SOGIE." The amendment aims to institutionalize the San Pablo City Pride Development Plan, create a dedicated LGBTQIA+ Development Officer position, and provide robust mechanisms for the community's advancement.
