In a world that often expects everyone to think, act, and communicate the same way, autism reminds us that there is no single “normal.” 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨, 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜.
As we celebrate the 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, let us be reminded that awareness is not just about knowing what autism is, but also about the patience we show, the words we choose, and the effort we make to include others, even in the simplest ways.
The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 believes that real change starts with us, the youth, who choose to listen, to learn, and to stand for inclusivity. Let us build a community where differences are not just accepted, but valued. Where no one is left out because they are “different,” and where kindness becomes our common language.
