Thank you, Apo, for being a true shepherd to us—always patient, always hands-on, and always guiding us with a heart rooted in Christ. You have not only led us in service, but you have also formed our spirits, reminding us that in all that we do, it is the Lord whom we serve, and that nothing done in love for Him goes unseen by His eyes.

Through your care, your gentleness, and your unwavering dedication, you have shown us the face of a loving and faithful servant of God. The lessons you have planted in our hearts will continue to grow and bear fruit in our ministry and in our lives. We are deeply blessed to have journeyed with you, Apo, and we will forever be grateful for your presence among us.

As you are sent forth to your new mission where God has called you to be a shepherd to His people, we will always keep you in our prayers. May the Lord continue to bless you, strengthen you, and guide you in every step of your new mission, just as He has used you to be our shepherd.

The Parish Office for Youth Apostolate members of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Nicolas De Tolentino embarked on a meaningful Marian Youth Pilgrimage across the Marian churches of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Baguio, and La Trinidad last February 21–22, 2025

Under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Roel Rodillas and the leadership of POYA Head Marcelo Ambo Caraang, the youth journeyed not only from one church to another, but from one encounter with God to the next. Each stop became a sacred moment of prayer and reflection as they entrusted their intentions to Mama Mary and strengthened their unity as a faith-filled community.

As the Church prepares to enter the season of Lent, this pilgrimage served as a powerful reminder that true pilgrimage begins in the heart. It calls the youth—and everyone—to deeper conversion, sincere sacrifice, and courageous faith. Through this shared journey, they were inspired to walk more closely with Christ, to imitate Mary’s humility and obedience, and to live out their mission with renewed purpose.

Centered on the Seven Sorrows of Mary, this two-day journey invited our Youth Ministry to walk with our Blessed Mother as she accompanied her Son in suffering. Through each sorrow, our youth reflected more deeply on Christ’s Passion, learning from Mary’s steadfast faith, humility, and surrender to God’s will.

We extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Apo Danny, Apo Rainier, and Apo Roel for their unwavering support, guidance, and generosity. Your steadfast encouragement continues to strengthen the mission of our youth apostolate.

Our deep appreciation also goes to our generous sponsors who shared their blessings to make this pilgrimage possible. Your kindness and support became instruments of God’s providence in preparing our youth for this holy season.

“Blessed is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her.” – Luke 1:45 🙏✨

May the graces received during this pilgrimage guide us throughout Lent, drawing us closer to Jesus through the loving intercession of our Blessed Mother.

“𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏.”

As we begin Kwaresma 2026, we are invited not just to observe a season—but to embrace transformation. This is a time to pause, to reflect, and to return to the Lord with all our hearts.

Lent is our journey from brokenness to healing, from darkness to light, from sin to grace. May this sacred season renew our faith, deepen our prayer life, strengthen our sacrifices, and inspire us to become better disciples of Christ.

Please be guided with the schedule, kaparokkia!

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Nicolas de Tolentino was privileged to solemnly welcome the presence of Saint Carlo Acutis on December 3 and 4. The visit of his relic was joined by many parishioners from the Diocese of Laoag through the Eucharistic Mass, veneration, exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and confession.

Saint Carlo Acutis’ remarkable witness of faith, marked by deep Eucharistic reverence and commitment to holiness amidst the complexities of modern life, continues to inspire the faithful to embrace virtue and sanctity. This sacred visit offered the community a profound opportunity for spiritual renewal through prayer, reflection, and veneration.

As we reflect on his exemplary journey, may we be moved to deepen our relationship with Christ in the Holy Eucharist and uphold the integrity of our faith in all circumstances. May his intercession provide strength and guidance for all who seek to live faithfully in today’s world.

Saint Carlo Acutis, pray for us!

Let us all witness the arrival of the pericardium relic of Saint Carlo Acutis this afternoon at 4:30PM, and together, join us in the Eucharistic Celebration at 6:00PM.

Saint Carlo Acutis, pray for us!

With hearts filled with faith and gratitude, our parish joyfully invites everyone to a blessed moment of encounter as we welcome the Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis on December 3, 2025.

This sacred relic—honored and safeguarded by the Church—reminds us of Carlo’s profound love for the Eucharist and his unwavering devotion to Jesus. Through this special moment of veneration, we are given the opportunity to draw closer to God, inspired by the life of a young man who allowed grace to shine through every ordinary moment of his life.

Blessed Carlo Acutis, known as the Apostle of the Eucharist in our time, lived a simple yet extraordinary holiness. He was a teenager who used his talents, especially in technology, to evangelize and spread love for the Eucharist. Carlo believed that “the Eucharist is the highway to heaven,” and he dedicated his short life to helping others encounter Jesus in the Sacrament of His love.

As we gather before his relic, may we be renewed in our desire to seek holiness, deepen our prayer, and strengthen our faith as one parish family. May this encounter inspire our youth, uplift our families, and open our hearts to God’s grace.
