RExCALIBRATION Training 102: Engage, Empower, and Grow

JCI Eastern Visayas Region continues to invest in leadership development and member growth through the RExCALIBRATION Training 102: Engage, Empower, and Grow, a meaningful Regional Training initiative designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and commitment of Jaycees across the region.

This regional learning experience provided participants with valuable insights, tools, and opportunities to enhance their engagement, empower fellow members, and continue growing as effective leaders and active citizens. Through collaboration and shared learning, JCI Eastern Visayas continues to build a stronger network of leaders ready to create positive impact in their communities.

JCI San Miguel proudly served as the host chapter of this significant JCI Eastern Visayas Regional Training, welcoming fellow Jaycees and fostering an environment of learning, connection, and leadership development.

JCI Eastern Visayas Regional Initiative

As part of the celebration of Autism Month, JCI Eastern Visayas proudly conducted its Regional Training on JCI Philippines Program Initiatives under JCI RISE, a meaningful learning session dedicated to strengthening awareness, compassion, and support for families in the autism community.

Centered on the theme: “Parenting a Child with Autism: Finding Strength, Joy, and Purpose”, the regional initiative provided valuable insights on understanding the experiences of parents, embracing the journey of raising a child with autism, and fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.

Featured Speaker: Dr. Mary Grace Tan-Uy (Pediatrician, ACE Medical Center)

JCI San Miguel proudly participated and co-hosted this significant JCI Eastern Visayas Regional Initiative, joining fellow Jaycees in promoting awareness, empathy, and meaningful action for individuals and families affected by autism.

In celebration of JCI Week, JCI San Miguel proudly co-hosted the meaningful webinar “Strong You, Strong Health Matters” hosted by JCI Tunga.

The activity focused on the importance of mental health awareness among young leaders, highlighting essential practices in maintaining emotional well-being, building resilience, managing challenges, and creating a healthier mindset in leadership and service.

Serving as the resource speaker was LO President Jonathan Gatela Jr. of JCI San Miguel, who shared valuable insights and practical guidance on Mental Health Essentials for Young Leaders. His discussion emphasized that effective leadership begins with self-awareness, self-care, and the courage to prioritize one’s well-being while serving others.

JCI San Miguel extends its appreciation to JCI Tunga for organizing this impactful initiative and to everyone who participated in promoting a culture of compassion, understanding, and support for mental health.

As part of our commitment to expanding meaningful opportunities for young active citizens, JCI San Miguel conducted “Opportunity to Impact” last April 24, 2026 -- a member recruitment initiative designed to introduce aspiring members to the world of JCI.

Conducted by the Immediate Past President of JCI San Miguel, Kyle Lindvey Zabala Delmo, the activity provided participants with a bird’s-eye view of JCI, highlighting its mission, values, programs, leadership opportunities, and the impact that members can create through community involvement and personal growth. 🌍✨

In celebration of JCI Week, JCI San Miguel proudly joined and co-hosted the meaningful initiative “Different, Not Less: Spectrum of Care Campaign” on April 21, 2026.

Hosted by JCI Candahug Liberation Inc., this impactful activity promoted awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum. The campaign highlighted the importance of understanding differences, embracing unique abilities, and creating communities where every person is valued, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive. ✨
