Last March 5, the Science Club of San Mateo Senior High School successfully participated in the ABM Fair with fun and interactive activities that brought together curiosity, teamwork, and a little bit of luck! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿคž

Participants enjoyed our โ€œ๐—œ๐—ง ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ถ-๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฐ๐—ตโ€ challenge, where players tested their memory and observation skills by guessing the correct order of hidden items inside the boxes. Many tried their luck and had fun figuring out the matching positions! ๐Ÿงฉ

Another crowd favorite was the ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ง๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ฟ ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ, which quickly became a hit among students. The jar nearly filled halfway with coins as many participants joined and supported the booth throughout the event. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ’ฐ

๐ŸŒžโœจ FEBRUARY 17 โ€” A RING OF FIRE IN THE SKY โœจ๐ŸŒž

The sky treats us to an Annular Solar Eclipse, a rare celestial event where the Moon passes directly in front of the Sunโ€”but not quite close enough to cover it completely. Instead of total darkness, a brilliant ring of sunlight appears around the Moon, often called the โ€œRing of Fire.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This happens because the Moon is slightly farther from Earth than usual, making it look smaller as it crosses the Sun. Itโ€™s a perfect reminder that even tiny differences in distance can create huge cosmic effects.

Events like this donโ€™t happen every dayโ€”so itโ€™s a great chancel to appreciate how dynamic and precise our universe really is. ๐ŸŒŒ
