‎Once again, 𝙺𝙰𝚂𝙰𝙻𝙸𝙺𝙰 𝚈𝚘𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙾𝚛𝚐𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚣𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 demonstrated resilience and perseverance as its members participated in the 𝙸𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛-𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚅𝚘𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝙹𝚊𝚖𝚋𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚎 held at 𝚂𝚝. 𝙰𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚢'𝚜 𝙲𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚐𝚎, 𝚂𝚝𝚊. 𝙰𝚗𝚊, 𝙲𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚢𝚊𝚗, on 𝙹𝚞𝚕𝚢 11-12, 2026.

‎This meaningful gathering provided an opportunity for our members to deepen their faith, strengthen camaraderie, and embrace the Franciscan values of humility, service, and care for creation. We are deeply grateful to 𝙎𝙧. 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙤, 𝙁𝘼𝙎, for inviting KASALIKA to be part of this inspiring event.

𝙆𝘼𝙎𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙆𝘼 members gathered for a simple yet meaningful team-building activity at Pax et Bonum Resort, Sta. Ana, Cagayan on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Together, we 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙, 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙙, and 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙬 stronger as one family—ready to continue serving our communities and protecting the environment.

‎KASALIKA was honored to welcome the Baggao Eco Vanguards Network (BEVN) during their educational site visit to the Philippine Crocodile Conservation Center through the Mabuwaya Foundation led by Ma'am Marites Balbas.

‎We are deeply grateful to the President of the BEVN, Mr. Vic Manzano, together with the founding council members, Sir Denis, Sir Frederic, Sir Ricardo, Ma'am Lovejoy, and Ma'am Joan, for their inspiring visit and fruitful discussions.

“Kalayaan, Kasaysayan, Kinabukasan” — isang makabuluhang temang nararapat pagnilayan hindi lamang ng mga nasa pamahalaan kundi maging ng pribadong sektor, mga indibidwal, at ng buong sambayanan.

Ang ating minamahal na bansang Pilipinas ay nasa ika-128 taon ng pagdiriwang ng kasarinlan at kinikilalang isang malayang bansa. Ngunit bilang mga kabataan, nararapat lamang na itanong at suriin natin: Tunay na malaya na ba tayo?
• Malaya na ba tayo sa kahirapan?
• Malaya na ba tayo sa pandarambong at pansariling interes ng ilan sa lipunan?
• Malaya na ba tayo upang laging manaig ang katotohanan?
• Malaya nga ba ang bawat mamamayan sa pagpili tuwing eleksyon?

Kamustahin din natin ang ating kapaligiran—berde pa ba ang ating mga kagubatan at buhay pa ba ang ating mga ilog? Nananatili pa bang matatag ang Sierra Madre? Nagkakaisa ba ang mga nasa kapangyarihan sa pagtatanggol sa Eksklusibong Sonang Pang-ekonomiya ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea? Tunay bang may mga hakbang tungo sa kaunlaran at pangmatagalang kapayapaan?

Sa paggunita ng Araw ng Kalayaan, nawa’y hindi lamang natin ipagdiwang ang ating kasaysayan kundi gamitin din itong inspirasyon upang sama-sama nating hubugin ang mas maunlad at makatarungang kinabukasan ng ating bansa.

Kalayaan. Kasaysayan. Kinabukasan. 🇵🇭

KASALIKA Youth Organization, under the leadership of President Keihla M. Calixtro, joined forces once again with KKDAT, headed by Mr. John Mark Pagtalunan, to express heartfelt gratitude for the year 2025. In partnership with the Philippine National Police and the 95th Infantry Battalion (SALAKNIB), Philippine Army, our youth volunteers visited San Mariano Medicare Community Hospital to distribute simple snacks to patients and dedicated health workers, bringing comfort and a reminder that they are valued and remembered.

A brief yet meaningful program followed, during which Program Director Rowel Dumlao welcomed all participants and reaffirmed KASALIKA’s role as a platform for youth empowerment. President Keihla Calixtro emphasized discipline as the cornerstone of the organization’s strength, while Lt. Dela Cruz of the 95th IB SALAKNIB commended the youth’s unwavering commitment to nation-building, and Sgt. Catembung of the PNP encouraged continued adherence to these positive practices. The gathering concluded with joyful fellowship, strengthening bonds among longtime members and new faces alike.

KASALIKA strengthens partnership with Mabuwaya through co-management of the Baletarium Project. On November 23, 2025, Program Director Rowel Dumlao presented the project proposal, while Forester Sammy Cadano explained the baletarium’s vital role in providing safe nesting sites for endangered waterbirds and habitat for the Critically Endangered Philippine crocodile (Crocodylus mindorensis).

The day continued with hands-on bamboo and balete seedling propagation alongside NSTP students from ISU Cauayan Campus, followed by an insightful tour of the Philippine Crocodile Conservation Area. Together, we plant hope for birds, crocodiles, and future generations. 🐦🌱🐊
