Continuous learning is key to better public service.

Today (August 4), the Barangay Pasadena Lupong Tagapamayapa, led by Punong Barangay Jaime Venal, participated in the two-part Barangay Governance and Excellence Program seminar-workshop organized by the San Juan City DILG Field Office.

Beyond the discussions on the Katarungang Pambarangay, the case exercises provided an opportunity to clarify issues, correct discrepancies, and strengthen our understanding of the proper application of the law and procedures.

We are proud to share with our Mayor, Francis Zamora, that Barangay Pasadena ranked 6th among the 16 entries in the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) for the National Capital Region. This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our Lupon members led by Lupon Chair, Punong Barangay Jaime Venal and the entire Barangay Pasadena community in promoting peace, justice, and good governance.

Idinaos ang Regular na Pulong ng Lupong Tagapamayapa para sa buwan ng Mayo 2026 sa pangunguna ni Lupon Chair Jaime Venal.

Isa sa mga naging tampok sa pulong ay ang talakayan ukol sa patuloy na pagpapabuti ng mga sistema upang higit pang mapalakas ang operasyon ng Lupon at ang maayos na paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko.

Thank you DILG-City of San Juan for the seminar on Barangay Governance and Public Service Ethics—a timely reminder to uphold integrity, accountability, and professionalism in public service.

In attendance were select Barangay Pasadena officials led by PB Jaime Venal with Kagawads Anita Lim Barby Clavecilla and Pia Acosta SK Chair Aika and her SK Kagawads, VAWC Desk Officer Gloria Lynn Rubinas Maman and ExO Renato Calda Recato .

Yesterday, April 15, 2026 was LP's Regular Monthly Meeting. It was noted that four cases were filed in the first quarter. A debriefing on the LTIA Regional Assessment was also held, where assessors acknowledged significant improvement from last year while identifying areas in the Barangay’s KP processes and systems for further enhancement. Although this presents a challenge, the LP remains committed to continuous improvement.

Our Lupong Tagapamayapa did it again! 🙌

For the second time, we are proud to be the City of San Juan’s entry to the 2026 Search for the Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa.

Yesterday’s assessment by the LTIA NCR Assessors was a great experience. Salamat sa suporta mga Kabarangay, especially to our Barangay Pasadena Council and staff.

Patuloy po tayong maglilingkod nang may integridad at husay. 💙
