Ipinagdiriwang natin ang Buwan ng Wika nang may pagmamalaki at layunin. Ang Outfit 1402 ay naniniwala na ang ating wika ang nagtatakda kung sino tayo. Itinuturing nating batas na dapat sundin ang bawat salitang ating binibitawan, sapagkat ang pagiging tunay na Iskawt ay nangangahulugang mapagkakatiwalaan at tapat. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโšœ๏ธ Scout Memorial Day โšœ๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Today, we solemnly remember the 24 members of the Philippine Contingentโ€”22 Boy Scouts and 2 adult leadersโ€”who made the ultimate sacrifice in the tragic plane crash over the Arabian Sea on July 28, 1963, while on their way to represent our nation at the 11th World Scout Jamboree in Marathon, Greece.

Their journey was cut short, but their courage, dedication, and commitment to the ideals of Scouting continue to inspire generations of Filipino Scouts and Eagle Scouts.

As members of the National Eagle Scouts Association of the Philippines, we honor their memory by living out the Scout Oath and Law through service, leadership, and love for God, country, and fellowmen.

Though they have gone home, their legacy remains a guiding light for every Scout who proudly wears the fleur-de-lis.

Lest we forget.
