๐ˆ๐‚๐˜๐Œ๐ˆ: Last December 15, 2025, the community outreach initiative โ€œ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฆ๐š๐ฌ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“: ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐‹๐ข๐ ๐ญ๐š๐ฌ ๐ง๐š ๐๐ฎ๐ค๐š๐ฌโ€ was successfully held at Brgy. Sta. Lucia Day Care Center, San Juan City, Metro Manila, bringing together children, parents, volunteers, and partner organizations in a shared commitment to child welfare and community empowerment.

The initiative was thoughtfully designed in two key components. The first was a parent seminar on cybersecurity awareness and child protection, conducted as a post-celebration initiative for this yearโ€™s National Childrenโ€™s Month, reinforcing the continuous advocacy for childrenโ€™s rights, safety, and well-being beyond the month-long celebration. The second component was a Christmas program for the children, which featured gift-giving, arts and crafts activities, storytelling sessions, interactive games, and special performances by dedicated student volunteers, creating a joyful and enriching experience for the young participants.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the collaboration of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - San Juan City Campus and the Helping Hands Community, in partnership with the Rotary Club of San Juan Neopolitan, Rotaract Club of P.U.P - San Juan, PUP Psychology Students' Society - PsySoc, and the Young Educators Society PUP San Juan.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the generosity of the cheerful givers, who wholeheartedly shared their resources to support the initiative and bring genuine smiles to the childrenโ€™s faces. Equal recognition is given to the student volunteers and youth advocates, whose dedication, time, and collective effort ensured the smooth and meaningful implementation of the activity.

Through initiatives such as this, the community continues to amplify munting boses and work toward a ligtas na bukas, one that upholds child protection, empowerment, and hope for every child.

๐ˆ๐‚๐˜๐Œ๐ˆ: Last October 20, 2025, The Helping Hands Community participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony of the City Government of San Juan. The said activity was attended by the Community Founder and Adviser, Asst. Prof. Anna Madonna M. Arellano, LPT, RGC, CMHT, the Community Convener, Richardo Lingat, the PUP San Juan Campus Director, Dr. Cecilia R. Alagon, and the dedicated advocates of the community who joyfully joined this milestone. During the program, the community formally received its Certificate of Registration as a Youth-Serving Organization and an official member of the Local Youth Development Office.

This milestone reinforces our commitment to champion youth leadership, mental health and well-being, and community service in the City of San Juan. The community remains dedicated to contributing meaningfully towards the growth and empowerment of the cityโ€™s youth, continuing our mission to serve with purpose. ๐Ÿ’š
