On June 18, 2026 | 9:00 AM, Siconeans actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026, demonstrating preparedness, discipline, and cooperation in responding to earthquake emergencies.

Students, teachers, and school personnel worked together in practicing the proper β€œDuck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and safely evacuated to their designated areas, highlighting the importance of readiness and safety during disaster situations.

Following the drill, a post-activity evaluation meeting was conducted by the L1GTAS Force Pioneers and faculty members under the leadership of SDRRM Coordinator Mr. Patrick T. Razon. The meeting focused on assessing the conduct of the drill, identifying areas for improvement, and discussing measures to further strengthen the school's emergency response procedures.

Through these activities, Sico 1.0 INHS continues to promote a culture of preparedness, resilience, and safety among all Siconeans.

On June 17, the Sico 1.0 INHS LIGTAS Force conducted a coordination meeting led by SDRRM Coordinator Mr. Patrick T. Razon in preparation for the upcoming National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.

The meeting focused on the proper designation of evacuation areas for students and the clarification of roles and responsibilities of each member to ensure an organized and efficient emergency response.

In addition, members of the LIGTAS Force demonstrated the proper ex*****on of the β€œDuck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, providing guidance on the correct response during earthquake situations as part of the school’s safety preparedness activities.

This initiative underscores the school’s continued commitment to disaster readiness and safety of the entire school community.
