Matthew 20:1-16

REFLECTION
When I read this Gospel, I realized that sometimes I compare myself with others. Sometimes, I feel jealous of people who are good at socializing because they can easily make friends and talk to others. There are also times when I feel sad when others do better than me in school. Because of this, I sometimes forget the blessings that God has already given me.

I learned that instead of being jealous, I should be thankful for what I have and continue to do my best. I may not be the best at everything, but I know that I can still improve. I also want to become more confident and better at talking to other people. With God's guidance, I know that I can grow and become a better person.

This Gospel taught me that God has a different plan for each of us. We may not receive the same blessings or achieve things at the same time, but God loves us equally. He knows what is best for us and has His own perfect timing.

Kaya, hindi natin dapat i-compare ang ating sarili sa iba dahil may espesyal na plano ang Diyos para sa bawat isa sa atin.

Matthew 18:15–20

REFLECTION
This Gospel reminds me that problems and misunderstandings are part of every relationship, but they should not immediately become reasons to hate, avoid, or give up on someone. This passage teaches me that when someone hurts me or does something wrong, I should try to talk to that person calmly and honestly. Instead of sharing the problem with other people or making the situation bigger, I should have the courage to communicate directly and respectfully. For me, this is important because sometimes I choose to stay quiet when I am hurt because I am afraid of making things worse. However, I realize that keeping everything inside does not always solve the problem. Sometimes, an honest and peaceful conversation can help both people understand each other better.

As I reflect on this Gospel, I realize that Jesus is teaching me how to build healthier relationships—with my family, friends, classmates, and other people around me. I should learn to communicate instead of arguing, forgive instead of holding grudges, and understand instead of judging. I may not always be able to control how other people treat me, but I can control how I respond to them. I want to choose kindness, patience, and peace, even when it is difficult.

REFLECTION
This verse reminds me that being an altar server is more than simply serving at the altar it is about saying YES to following Jesus. It teaches me to depend on God, especially when serving becomes difficult, and to be willing to give up small things for Him. Even when we face many problems, challenges, and sacrifices, we should continue to trust God because with God, all things are possible. As altar servers, may we remain faithful, humble, and willing to serve Him despite every difficulty

Matthew 15:21–28

REFLECTION
This Bible verse made me realize that, as a student and an aspirant, my persistent prayers will be rewarded because of my faith in our God. My hard work and determination will soon pay off if they are combined with persistent prayers. This Bible verse is strengthened by beliefs and faith in our God because He has mercy upon us, and God is just trying to draw out our faith.

I realized that God might not answer my prayers right away, or He may stay silent, but He could be challenging my faith in Him. He could be drawing out my faith, but He would never insult or question my faith in Him. This Bible verse made me realize that humility is honored by God, God's mercy extends beyond all people, and persistent prayer will be rewarded if you combine it with determination and belief.

𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨

Today we remember Saint Tarcisius, a young boy who gave his life to protect the Holy Eucharist. His bravery and deep love for Jesus remind us that true holiness begins with the heart — no matter your age.

As we celebrate his feast, we also recognize all altar servers, whose quiet service at the altar reflects that same devotion and love. You are a vital part of the Church’s mission and a powerful example of faith in action.

May Saint Tarcisius inspire you to serve with courage, humility, and joy.

REFLECTION
‎This gospel remind me that real service is done with joy and love. we help others right away, not because we have to but because we care. True service means giving without waiting to be asked. ‎In my life I learned that i should also be quick to help at home, in school and with my friends. sometimes i wait to be told first or complain, but this reminds me to serve with a willing heart and without expecting anything in return.

As an altar server preparing to serve at the altar, I learned that we are called to bring God to others through our service. that is why i need to be early, be prepared, and serve with respect. It is not about being noticed. It is about having a heart that truly serves God and the people.

Matthew 19: 3-12

REFLECTION
This Gospel teaches me that marriage is not for everyone; some are called to remain single “for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.” And this Gospel reminded me that God values commitment, not just in marriage, but in every calling He gives us.

As an altar server and a student, sometimes when problems keep getting bigger and bigger, I ask myself, “Can I still fix this?” and “If it gets hard, I’ll quit.” May time rin na pagod na, ’di ko na kakayanin, parang gusto nang sumuko, pero I know that Jesus is always by my side and giving me courage to serve.

As He called me to serve at the altar, I will serve Him faithfully and trust God no matter what, even if the situation is difficult. I will keep moving forward, and I will always pray for God’s strength, courage, and guidance. Not everyone is called to the same thing, but all are called to be faithful.

Matthew 18: 21-19:1

REFLECTION
This Gospel reminds me that forgiveness is not something I should only give when it is easy. There are times when I get hurt, disappointed, or tired of understanding other people. Sometimes, I feel that there should be a limit to how many times I should forgive someone. But Jesus reminds me that forgiveness is an act of love and humility.

I realized that forgiving someone does not mean that what they did was right. It means choosing to let go of anger and allowing God to heal my heart. I also need to remember that I make mistakes and receive God’s forgiveness every day. If God continues to forgive me, I should also learn to forgive others.

As I continue my journey of serving God, I pray that I may have a patient and forgiving heart. May I learn to release the things that hurt me, understand others more, and choose peace instead of resentment. Through today’s Gospel, I am reminded that true forgiveness brings me closer to God.

Matthew 18:15–20

REFLECTION
This Gospel teaches us the importance of correcting others with love, seeking reconciliation, and living in unity. Jesus reminds us that when someone hurts or wrongs us, we should not immediately judge, gossip, or reject that person. Instead, we should approach them privately and honestly, with the goal of restoring the relationship.

This Gospel also reminds me that forgiveness and reconciliation require humility. Sometimes, it is easier to hold on to anger than to have a sincere conversation. However, Jesus calls us to choose understanding and peace. Correcting someone should not come from pride or revenge, but from genuine concern for their well-being.

The final part of the Gospel is especially comforting: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” This reminds me that God is present when people come together in love, prayer, and unity. We do not have to face our struggles alone.

This passage encourages me to be more patient, honest, and forgiving in my relationships. I should learn to speak with kindness, listen before judging, and always seek peace. When conflicts arise, I can remember that reconciliation is not a sign of weakness but an expression of God’s love.
