…and that’s a wrap for out Donate-to-Educate Program! 🎬

Check out our July visit to Bacsayan Elementary School where we donated gardening tools, eco-friendly school supplies (plantable pencils and reusable bag), hygiene kits (bamboo toothbrush, reusable napkin, SUDS handwash), reusable food containers, and our “Go, Eco-Ranger, Go!” activity books. 🥰

A special shout-out to the Bacsayan Elementary Faculty, Ma’am Lo**ta Surtin, Ma’am Rowena Balanon, and Sir Joseph for coordinating with us throughout the project! 💚

Look at the little Eco-Rangers go!

Each of the 21 Bayabas Elementary School students received a “Go, Eco-Ranger, Go!” activity book, drawstring bag, accordion, Usbong Pencil, and a SIP eco-friendly cutlery set.

As part of our holistic Donate to Educate campaign, the institution and its faculty received flash drives, SIP eco-friendly cutlery sets, AM/FM radios, gardening tools, Suds sustainable ponds hand wash, refill pods and pumps, and first-aid kits.

We owe much to Principal Noemi Culbengan as our efforts would not have been made possible without her assistance.

Let’s talk about impact! 🗣🌏

We visited Nayba Elementary School in Brgy. Apayao, San Gabriel, La Union to turnover donations to students and faculty as part of our Donate to Educate campaign. Donations included Usbong pencils, envelope folders, “Go, Eco-ranger, Go!” activity books, and drawstring bags, flash drives and SIP eco-friendly cutlery sets, AM/FM radio, gardening scissors, gardening tool box, Suds sustainable pods handwash, and refill pods with pump.

We would love to thank Principal Isagani Sayan for assisting and supporting us on our project! 💗

Check out our Donate to Educate campaign in Bayabas Elementary School 💚

Our sincerest gratitude to Mayor & Vice Mayor Velasco and Principal Noemi Culbengan for their guidance and coordination throughout the campaign! And thank you to Siglat San Gabriel for the feature!

“In line with their Donate to Educate campaign, members of local organization, Climate It La Union; Hermina Daligues Velasco and Sebastian Frigillana visited the Youth Development Center and paid a courtesy call to Mayor & Vice Mayor Velasco to turn over donations to Principal Noemi Culbengan of Bayabas Elementary School.

Donations include gardening tool box, AM/FM radios, SUDS sustainable pods, and first aid kits for the institution; flash drive, SIP Eco-friendly cutlery sets and office supplies for the teachers and staff; and drawstring bags containing Usbong pencils, SIP Eco-friendly cutlery sets, zero waste toothbrush, and the “Go, Eco-Ranger, Go!” activity book written and designed by Climate It members themselves for the students.

Climate It La Union is a youth-led educational initiative that advocates for Climate Justice.”

Last Wednesday, we turned over our donations to the SFC SPED Integrated School.

These include gardening tools and school supplies namely the “Go, Eco-Ranger, Go!” activity book (written and designed by our very own members), an accordion folder, and a plantable pencil incased in a drawstring bag each to 25 students and a flash drive each to 35 teachers.

As Climate It also touches on healthcare, we provided reusable masks and Suds Sustainable hand wash pods with dispenser bottles and months worth of refill to ~eco-consciously~ combat COVID-19.

We would like to thank Principal Gloria Abad and Teacher Jasmine Sibayan for their support in the project! ❤️
