Who are we?
Research and Development Commission is a newly established commission that is responsible to bridge the gap between the students and the Student Assembly by providing efficient and effective strategies that will minimize the burden of the university and maximize the effectiveness of the Student Assembly. R&D is tasked to regularly review and advice the student council in selection of targets on risk management in long term upright status of the students in general, inside the campus platform and programs. Each member of this commission must embody the commission's shared values and principles - inclusivity, excellence, democracy, quality, and integrity and accountability
Research and Development Commission aims to provide sound and supportive strategic studies that will minimize the burden of the university and maximize the effectiveness of the Student Assembly. Through creative problem solving, we fully dedicate ourselves to rigorously review and analyze the gaps and loopholes that will serve as a guide to develop plans in maintaining effective communication between the administration and the students.
What are the teams/committees under the PUPSJ R&D?
Aside from the Councilor/Commission Head, Research and Development Commission is divided into three (3) teams and each team is composed of up to five (5) members:
1. Research Team
2. Survey Team
3. Analysis and Recommendation Team
Research Team
• Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to subject given by the president of the Student Assembly
• Formulate effective and efficient research processes
• Identify trends and issues
• Maintain research databases in compliance with data privacy act
Survey Team
• Design surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc. specific to research requirements
• Maintain survey results in compliance with data privacy act
Analysis and Recommendation Team
• Compile and organize findings in graphs, charts, and diagrams
• Document, submit, report, and present research findings to the commission head
• Analyze and interpret patterns and trends
• Anticipates research issues and promptly resolving them
