Sometimes, even the simplest acts can make a difference. Through the turnover of the handwashing facility at Abar 2nd Elementary School, we were able to share something that can help students practice proper hygiene and make it a part of their daily routine. It may be a small project, but its purpose goes beyond the facility, it’s about caring for others and doing something meaningful for the community.

Together, we continue to 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕, one simple act of service at a time ✨️

Some leaders lead with authority, but the most remarkable ones lead with heart. Today, we honor and celebrate our Immediate Past President, Pauline Claire O. Nuñez, for her unwavering dedication and service to the Rotaract Club of San Jose Golden Harvest, Rotary International District 3770, during the Rotary Year 2025-2026.

IPP Claire was not only our President by position, she became our Ate, mentor, confidante, and friend. Through every project, every challenge, and every success, she guided us with patience, compassion, and an inspiring vision of service above self. She believed in each of us, encouraged us to become better leaders, and reminded us that true leadership is measured not by titles, but by the lives we touch and the hearts we inspire.

Her term was filled with hard work, countless sacrifices, and genuine love for the club. She carried the responsibilities of leadership with grace and humility, ensuring that every member felt valued, heard, and empowered. Because of her, we grew not only as Rotaractors but also as individuals committed to making a difference in our communities.

Thank you, IPP Claire, for leading us with courage, serving with compassion, and inspiring us to dream bigger and do better. Thank you for being the kind of leader who became family, a sister to all of us in the club.

The legacy you leave behind is not only found in the projects we accomplished or the milestones we achieved, but in the values you instilled in every member of this organization. Your impact will continue to live on in our hearts and in the future leaders you have helped shape.

As you pass the torch to the next generation of leaders, know that your Rotaract family will always be grateful for your service, your guidance, and your love.

Thank you for being our President, our mentor, and most especially, our Ate. Your leadership made a difference, and your legacy will forever remain a part of the Rotaract Club of San Jose Golden Harvest.

🤝✨ Collaboration in Action!

Last May 21, 2026, the Rotaract Club of San Jose Golden Harvest proudly participated in a coordination and planning meeting for Brigada Eskwela 2026 held at San Jose City National High School.

Together with NEC Rover Circle 09 - REACT San Jose City and NEC Rover Circle 08 - San Jose City NHS, we discussed plans, strategies, and collaborative efforts to ensure a successful Brigada Eskwela that will benefit students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Beyond planning, the participants also took the initiative to start a little cleaning activity within the school grounds, demonstrating that service begins with action. Every small effort contributes to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming learning environment for all.

Through teamwork, service, and shared commitment, we continue to embody the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement.

Through engaging sessions on proper handwashing and toothbrushing, we promoted Disease Prevention and Treatment while advancing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices. 🫧 Alongside this, our environmental efforts reminded us that even small actions like planting and caring for nature contribute to Environmental Sustainability and a better tomorrow. 🌱 These collective efforts continue to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3, SDG 6, and SDGs 13 & 15.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the community of Cadaclan for warmly welcoming and accommodating us. Your openness and trust made this outreach truly meaningful and impactful. As we move forward, we remain committed to extending this spirit of service to more communities, continuing to create change, one outreach at a time. 💙

Rotaract Club of San Jose Golden Harvest, in partnership with Alicia V. Nuñez Lying-In Clinic, successfully conducted a Mothers’ Class under the Maternal and Child Health area of focus of Rotary International.

This initiative aimed to provide newly delivered mothers with valuable knowledge and guidance on maternal care, newborn wellness, breastfeeding, nutrition, and responsible parenting. Through education and community partnership, the activity promoted healthier beginnings for both mothers and their children.

Together, we continue to create meaningful impact by empowering families, nurturing communities, and supporting healthier futures — one mother and one child at a time. 💛
