The members of the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 - 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎) actively participated in the DRRM Hazard Mapping Orientation held on July 6, 2026, at the ALS Building.

During the orientation, the officers learned the importance of identifying hazards, recognizing risk-prone areas, and understanding how hazard mapping plays a vital role in disaster preparedness. The activity also emphasized that preparedness is not only about responding to emergencies—it is about being ready before they happen. 🍃

Through activities like this, our 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 members continue to strengthen their knowledge, develop a greater sense of responsibility, and become more prepared to help create a safer and more resilient school community. Every lesson learned today is another step toward protecting lives, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging everyone to take part in disaster risk reduction. ✨

Last 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲), the 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝒀𝑬𝑺-𝑶) successfully conducted its first regular meeting for the school year 2026 - 2027.✨

The student leaders from different organizations of San Jose City National High School participated in an orientation meeting that highlighted their roles and responsibilities as part of the school community. Through meaningful discussions and shared insights, they were reminded of the importance of dedication, accountability, and teamwork in fulfilling their duties.

This gathering became an inspiration for young leaders to strengthen their commitment, understand their responsibilities, and recognize the impact of their actions. Every initiative, decision, and effort contributes to creating a more organized, responsible, and empowered student body.
