Another HUMSSuccessful event was held at Bagong Sikat Elementary School by the Grade 12 Zechariah HUMSS students from San Jose Adventist Academy on December 5, 2025.
The outreach program, entitled LINGAP Project with the theme "Nurturing Youth through Compassion and Service," is dedicated to uplifting Grade 6 learners by extending genuine care, kindness, and support. This project not only provided school essentials and snacks but also created meaningful experiences through interactive activities, engaging games, and heartfelt interactions that inspire confidence, joy, and hope among the students.
From countless meetings, late night discussions, coordinating with teachers, careful planning, and budgeting to checking and listing every need for the program, each member of our designated committees worked diligently to make this project a reality. Despite the challenges, through teamwork, patience, and commitment, we were able to create a program that not only met expectations but also touched the hearts of the students we aimed to help.
On the day of the program, emotions ran high as each member felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. But all worries faded the moment we saw the genuine smiles on the childrenโs faces. The program flowed seamlessly, guided by our Master of Ceremonies, Jennica Dualos and Chazlyne Plazaras, alongside with our DJ, Shayne Cabrera. Handling the sound system with care. The students enjoyed singing a little song, listening to the story of โLimang Tinapay at Dalawang Isdaโ told by our speaker Joana Manuel, participating in fun games with prizes, and receiving their school supplies and snacks. Every moment was carefully documented, preserving these precious memories for everyone.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our teachers, Maโam Michelle Silverio and Maโam Anja Gonzales, whose guidance and support made this event possible. We also extend our sincerest thanks to the principal, Maโam Rachel Joy N. Alvaro, and the Grade 6 chairman, Maโam Joanne Belza, who warmly welcomed us and graciously accepted a token of appreciation on behalf of the students.
Above all, we thank God for guiding us, giving us the strength, compassion, and unity to serve others. Every moment of joy we shared with the children reminded us that true service goes beyond material giftsโit's about touching hearts, spreading kindness, and creating lasting memories. The LINGAP Project was not only a HUMSSuccessful event but also a meaningful journey of love, compassion, and communityโone that will forever remain in our hearts and guide us in serving others with purpose and joy. ๐๐๐ซถ๐ป
