🌟 HEY, KIDS! LET’S GET TO KNOW ChAMPPS! 🌟

Have you ever wondered how children can make a difference in their community? 🤔💭

The story of 𝗖𝗵𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗣𝗦 — is a story of children finding their voices, standing up for their rights, and becoming advocates for other children. 💙

Our journey was inspired by the work of CAPIN (Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention Network), which was established with the guidance of the Consuelo Foundation and strengthened through the support of the Ateneo Human Rights Center.

Today, under the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), 𝗖𝗵𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗣𝗦 continues to create opportunities for children and young people to learn, speak up, participate, and become voices for change in our community. 🌱✨

Our slogan "𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓪 𝓼𝓪 𝓑𝓪𝓽𝓪" means doing things with children, for children, and because every child deserves to be safe, heard, respected, and given the chance to make a difference. 💙

LNK: YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FESTIVAL 🌱✊💛

A celebration of learning, leadership, friendship, and the powerful voices of young people!

The LNK: Youth Empowerment Festival wrapped up another meaningful session filled with joyful moments, random shots, the awarding of certificates to our inspiring speakers, panelists, partners, and participants, and a fun Unity Dance that brought everyone together. 💃🕺

More than an event, LNK reminds us that young people have the right to be heard, the courage to speak up, and the power to take part in creating positive change. 🌍✨

CHAMPPS proudly joined and actively participated in the celebration, taking the opportunity to share the concerns, ideas, hopes, and voices of children and youth in the community. Because when young people are given safe spaces to speak, they become partners in building a kinder, safer, and more inclusive community. 🫶🏽

Let us continue to listen to children and youth, stand with them, and create spaces where their voices matter—not just today, but every day.

Last July 4, 2026, CHAMPPS conducted an Online Safety Advocacy Session during the Family Strengthening Program of Next Dream Foundation in Barangay San Angel.

While Manang Hannah facilitated an engaging discussion with parents on the importance of keeping children safe in the digital world, our CHAMPPions simultaneously led interactive learning sessions with the children—making the most of the opportunity by educating both parents and children at the same time. 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Through age-appropriate activities and meaningful conversations, the children learned about responsible internet use, recognizing online risks, and practicing safe online behavior, while parents gained valuable knowledge on guiding and protecting their children in today's digital environment.

Indeed, protecting children online begins with informed parents and empowered children. Together, we are building safer families and stronger communities. 🤝🌐
