Seeds of Knowledge, Hearts of Gold: SELG & YES-O Honor Their Teachers

Yesterdayโ€™s celebration was a beautiful expression of love, gratitude, and joy as the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) came together to honor our dedicated and passionate teachers.

Through songs, dances, heartfelt messages, and creative surprises, the learners showed their deep appreciation for the mentors who inspire them every single day โ€” teachers who go beyond the call of duty to nurture minds, shape values, and touch hearts.

The event was not just a celebration, but a reflection of how deeply our young leaders value the selfless service of their educators. It reminded everyone that teaching is more than a profession โ€” it is a lifelong mission of love, patience, and sacrifice.

๐Ÿ“ฟ Monday Rosary Prayer | SELG - MAKADIYOS
As we begin another week in the Month of the Holy Rosary, the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) continues to live out its Makadiyos core value through the Daily Rosary Prayer. Todayโ€™s prayer was faithfully led by SELG Officers Phio Rylle Lacsa and Ehra Renaissance J. Mangubat, guiding everyone in reflecting on the Joyful Mysteries and deepening our devotion to the Blessed Mother.

Each Hail Mary recited echoes our collective hope, gratitude, and faith โ€” reminding us that prayer is not just a routine, but a powerful connection to Godโ€™s love and mercy. Through this daily act of faith, our young leaders inspire the entire school community to begin the week with peace in their hearts and trust in the Lordโ€™s guidance.

May this Monday and the days ahead be filled with blessings, as we continue to walk with Mary and grow in faith, love, and unity.

A Spirit-Filled Start: PILMES First Friday Mass Ushers in the Month of August with Faith and Gratitude

On August 1, 2025, the Padre Imo Luna Memorial Elementary School (PILMES) community came together in solemn reverence for their First Friday Mass held at the PILMES Covered Court at 7:30 AM. This meaningful celebration marked not just the beginning of a new month but also reinforced the schoolโ€™s commitment to nurturing not only the minds but also the hearts and souls of its learners and staff.

The Mass was a sacred moment of unity and reflection, bringing together teachers, staff, and learners in prayer and thanksgiving. It served as a gentle reminder of the importance of spirituality in education โ€” grounding the school community in Christian values as they face the challenges and blessings of each new day.

As the Holy Eucharist was celebrated, hearts were lifted in praise and prayers were offered for continued guidance, wisdom, and protection for the entire school. With the presence of school personnel who led the readings and responses, the Mass became a powerful symbol of teamwork and devotion that transcends the classroom.
