September 13, 2026 — A Day With Our Interactors

What a wonderful day spent with our amazing Interactors!

A special tribute and deepest gratitude to PP Karen Malabanan Baciles — thank you for your unwavering heart in always engaging, guiding, and nurturing our Interactors. Your dedication to building peace and wellness among our youth means more than words can say.

We may have started a little late for this warm meet-and-greet, but from this day forward, every moment together will surely blossom into something beautiful. This is just the beginning — and we know it will create a lasting impact on their lives and our community.

PEACE BEGINS WITH ME

A Mental Health Awareness Project

Rotary Club of Metro San Jose & Rotary Club of Metro Lipa
Brgy Tampoy Elementary School (September 17,2026)

Brgy. Pangao Integrates School
(September 18, 2026)

The Rotary Club of Metro San Jose and the Rotary Club of Metro Lipa successfully conducted “Peace Begins with Me,” a Mental Health Awareness Project dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, emotional well-being, and the importance of creating a supportive and compassionate community.

The activity provided participants with meaningful insights on understanding mental health, managing emotions, coping with life’s challenges, and recognizing the importance of seeking help when needed. It emphasized that peace and well-being begin within ourselves and can positively influence our families, workplaces, and communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Speaker PP Glenda Dela Cruz,
TRF Cadre for Peace and Global Health,
for generously sharing her knowledge, experiences, and valuable insights with our participants. Her inspiring and informative presentation helped create a safe and meaningful space for everyone to learn, reflect, and become more aware of the importance of mental health.

This project reflects Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self by addressing an important community concern and encouraging people to take an active role in promoting mental wellness and building a culture of understanding and support.

Our sincere appreciation goes to all the members, partners, and participants of the Rotary Club of Metro San Jose and Rotary Club of Metro Lipa for their cooperation and support in making this meaningful activity possible.

Together, let us continue to spread awareness, compassion, and hope.

Peace begins with me.
Peace begins with us.

Successful Sow Management Seminar: Empowering Our Mommy Pig Beneficiaries

Rotary Club of Metro San Jose, in partnership with the ATI-ITCPH, proudly held the Seminar on Sow Management, Record Keeping, and Biosecurity last September 3, 2026, at the ATI-ITCPH Hall, Marawoy, Lipa City, Batangas.

It was truly a remarkable and successful gathering, warmly attended by our dedicated Mommy Pig Beneficiaries — all eager to learn, grow, and improve their livelihood. The participants showed great enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the session, deeply absorbing essential knowledge on proper sow care for healthier livestock and stronger litters, accurate record-keeping practices, and critical biosecurity measures to ensure safe, sustainable farms.

This initiative goes beyond just training — it is our commitment to create a lasting impact in our community. By equipping our beneficiaries with the right skills and best practices, we are not only strengthening their livelihoods but also building self-reliant, resilient families and a thriving community.

We believe that one Mommy Pig can save lives — and through this project, we are turning that vision into reality. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Together, we continue to serve above self, creating meaningful change that will last for generations.
Stronger Sows, Stronger Communities.
