𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞

Let us join the nation in observing the 2026 National Disability Rights Week from July 17–23, 2026, pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 452, s. 2026 and School Memorandum No. 07-23, s. 2026.

With this year's theme, "𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕, 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 – 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕," the week-long celebration will promote the rights, dignity, and equal participation of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in all aspects of society.

In support of this observance, the school shall implement 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡, 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩-𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, such as:
• Disability rights awareness campaigns during school activities and classroom discussions;
• Display of advocacy materials and information campaigns through official school platforms;
• Inclusive talent showcases recognizing the abilities and potential of learners with disabilities; and
• Child-Find initiatives to identify out-of-school children and youth with disabilities and connect them with appropriate educational opportunities.

All activities shall be conducted in accordance with DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, ensuring the non-disruption of instructional time while upholding the welfare, safety, and protection of every learner.

We invite everyone to take part in this meaningful celebration as we work together to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
