𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍, 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐓! 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐀𝐖!

Limampu’t apat na taon na ang nakalilipas nang ideklara ang Batas Militar sa Pilipinas. Sa ilalim ng diktadura, marami ang dumanas ng walang-habas na karahasan at paglabag sa karapatang pantao. Sa bawat buhay na nawala at pamilyang iniwan sa dalamhati, nananatili ang panawagan para sa katarungan.

Sa pagtutulak ni Marcos Jr. sa Pax Silica initiative, habang nananatiling usapin ang pananagutan sa mga anomalya sa flood control, kinakailangang hindi tikom ang bibig at hindi takot maningil ng pananagutan. Sa harap ng katiwalian, panunupil, at paglabag sa karapatan ng mamamayan, kailangang manatiling mapanuri, kritikal, at parating nakasandig sa masa.

Tunay na kaliwa’t kanan man ang pagtatangka ng mga puwersang mapanupil na baluktutin at burahin ang mga alaala ng karahasan at ilihis ang militanteng diwa ng sambayanan, hindi titigil ang mga manggagawang panlipunan ng bayan sa pag-alala, pagtindig, at paglaban. Muling sisibol ang diwa ng pagbalikwas.

𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐒!

The Social Work Program of Occidental Mindoro State University (OMSU) proudly celebrates its graduates who successfully passed the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) held on September 9–11, 2026.

OMSU recorded a 97.62% Institutional Passing Rate among first-time takers, surpassing the 83.44% National Passing Rate, and achieved a 90% overall Institutional Passing Rate, exceeding the 76.27% overall National Passing Rate.

With a total of 47 newly registered Social Workers, this achievement reflects the perseverance, dedication, and commitment of our graduates throughout their Social Work journey.

As you step into the profession, may you continue to uphold human dignity, social justice, compassion, and integrity, and use your knowledge and skills to serve individuals, families, groups, and communities.
