Today marks a truly historic milestone for the Midwifery Program.
You are the last batch to graduate under the Old Midwifery Curriculum (𝓒𝓜𝓞 𝓝𝓸. 33, 𝓼. 2007) and, at the same time, the first batch to graduate under the name of 𝓞𝓬𝓬𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓸𝓻𝓸 𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓤𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓽𝔂 (𝓞𝓜𝓢𝓤).

Your batch has also made history by producing the first-ever 𝓒𝓾𝓶 𝓛𝓪𝓾𝓭𝓮 graduate since the establishment of the Midwifery Program in 2000—a remarkable achievement that reflects your dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence.

Today, June 17, 2026, marks a defining moment in the history of Occidental Mindoro State College as the institution officially attains university status, becoming Occidental Mindoro State University, pursuant to Republic Act No. 11587 and upon the approval of the Commission En Banc.

This historic achievement is the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and collective commitment of the College's administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, partners, and stakeholders who have continuously pursued excellence in instruction, research, extension, innovation, and production.

As OMSC officially transitions into Occidental Mindoro State University, it ushers in a new era of greater opportunities, expanded academic horizons, strengthened research and innovation initiatives, and enhanced service to the people of Occidental Mindoro and beyond.

Today, we celebrate not only a change in name but the realization of a shared vision—one that reflects the institution's growth, achievements, and readiness to take on a greater role in nation-building and global competitiveness.

The following services will be offered during PRC Mobile Services in Occidental Mindoro Service Hub located at MDRRMO Building, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro on June 16-17, 2026:

1. Application for Licensure Examination for:
a. Criminologists; and,
b. Professional Teachers.
2. Initial Registration of successful examinees who have duly attended the oathtaking.
3. Renewal and Duplicate of Professional Identification Cards (PICs).
4. Certification of Rating, Passing and Good Standing.
5. Authentication of Rating, Passing, PIC and Certificate of Registration.

Important Notice for PRC Clients:
● Appointments must be made through online.prc.gov.ph. Only clients with confirmed appointments will be accommodated.
● For LERIS-related concerns, log a request for assistance at crms.prc.gov.ph. You may retrieve your ticket for response within 72 hours.
