Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2026, with the theme โEmpowering Youth Leaders to Serve with Purpose,โ was a remarkable two-day event that united passionate youth leaders, Rotaractors, and esteemed Rotary officials for a transformative leadership journey.
Day 1 began with heartfelt registration and fellowship, paving the way for a formal opening ceremony led by District Rotaract Representative, Rose Ann P. Samareta. The program was filled with inspiring messages from Rotary leaders, including District Governor, Jose Alexander H. Santos, District Governor-Elect, Noel B. Mariano, and our esteemed guest speaker, DRR Rose Ann P. Samareta, who illuminated the power of serving with purpose. A stirring keynote address by Atty. Jose Manuel โChelโ Diokno ignited a passion for empowering youth in nation-building.
With 212 participants actively engaging in icebreakers, a vibrant unity dance presented by the Rotaract Club of Marilao Circle, and profound presentations on service and purpose, the evening blossomed into a time of connection and fellowship among attendees. Representing the Rotaract Club of San Jose Del Monte were Unifying President Ralph Santiago and his 8 club members. Their participation was made possible through the sponsorship and support of the Rotary Club of San Jose Del Monte, led by President Poly Ilio.
Day 2 launched with a rejuvenating breakfast and dynamic team-building activities that nurtured collaboration and leadership skills. The event culminated in an inspiring awarding ceremony celebrating outstanding youth leaders, graciously hosted by the Rotary Club of Marilao Circle.
RYLA 2026 transcended being merely an event; it emerged as a powerful movement of purpose-driven leadership, unity, and selfless service.
