December 16, 2025 โ The School of Our Lady of La Salette, Inc. warmly welcomed General Superior Sr. Estelle, SNDS and one of her General Councilors, Sr. Marie Victorie, SNDS, from France and Sr. Justina Senghlei, SNDS, from Myanmar, together with the Philippine Province Superior Sr. Elizabeth Cuyop, SNDS, with gratitude and love.
The Sisters arrived past 12 noon and were welcomed by Sr. Karen S. Tacay, SNDS; Sr. Nguyen Thi Xoan, SNDS; Sr. Genevieve Go, SNDS; and Sr. Caurenia Clemente, SNDS and the School Principal, Mrs. Ma. Theresa L. Garces, LPT, MAIE, at the schoolโs entrance. As soon as the sisters stepped inside the school, students and teachers from the Spirituality Center (SC) Building celebrated their arrival with confetti to show their anticipation. The sisters then proceeded to the schoolโs quadrangle court, where they were welcomed with garlands and by students from the La Salette and St. Joseph Buildings through a performance of the song โWelcome to the Family.โ This was followed by a dance performance by selected elementary students and an intense dance performance by one of the school organizations, the Salettinian Circle.
After the performances, Sr. Estelle, SNDS and Sr. Marie Victorie, SNDS were welcomed by Sr. Minerva I. Boado, SNDS, who also interpreted the speeches of both sisters. Sr. Estelle, SNDS shared in her speech how happy they were to see everyone and mentioned that they had visited the country three years ago. She also expressed her appreciation for the schoolโs warm welcome and complimented the dances prepared by the students. Meanwhile, Sr. Marie Victorie, SNDS likewise showed her gratitude for the kind welcome and gave an acclamation, telling the students that they are models of their country and the world, as well as the light of their family, the school, and the world.
The welcoming event officially concluded with the Christmas song โAng Pasko ay Sumapit,โ sung by everyone present and accompanied on guitar by Teacher Richard V. Soriyao and the School Choir in honor of the Sisters.
