The Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) officers held its first ever virtual meeting in regards to the celebration of Buwan ng Wika 2026.

โ€ŽThe officers discussed the upcoming activities for learners despite tight schedules. This conducted meeting was purposely held due to some changes with the plans and proposed activities for the celebration.

Needless to say, the organization is still committed and continuously aims to provide interactive activities for learners before ending the 1st term of this academic school year.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) gathered for its first meeting of the month to map out main projects and upcoming end-block activities for the 1st Term.

Although not all officers were able to attend, the present student leaders worked together to discuss event details and keep plans moving forward. Agendas covered during the meeting included reviewing and finalizing the budget proposal, preparing representations for the Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting, and planning cultural events for the Buwan ng Wika celebration.

The council remains dedicated to organizing a memorable and engaging experience for the entire student body.

Through the kind invitation of ๐’๐ˆ๐Š๐€๐ƒ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) of City College of San Jose del Monte โ€“ Senior High School Department had the opportunity to take part in the leadership seminar entitled, โ€œ๐‘ณ๐’Š๐’Œ๐’‰๐’‚: ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’๐’๐’—๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’†, ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’”๐’‘๐’Š๐’“๐’†, ๐‘ณ๐’†๐’‚๐’…โ€ on September 12, 2026

Representing the SSLG, ๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐˜๐ณ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐‘๐จ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ณ attended the seminar, gaining meaningful insights and experiences that strengthened her understanding of leadership, service, and the responsibilities that come with being a student leader.

The seminar served not only as an opportunity to learn, but also as a reminder that effective leadership is built through continuous learning, active participation, and a genuine commitment to serve. The knowledge and lessons gained from this experience will be valuable not only in fulfilling present responsibilities, but also in shaping the kind of leader one aspires to become in the future.
