July 25, 2026 marks the opening of the San Jose City National High School (SJCNHS) School Sports Meet 2026.

The program officially began with the Assembly and Parade of Teams, headed by the San Jose City NHS Rover Circle 08 and the Senior Scouts of Outfit 2223. Our BSP Rovers together with the Senior Scouts marched at the forefront, guiding each grade level from Grade 7 to Grade 12 with honor and pride.

After the parade, the event continued with the Entrance of Colors proudly carried by the Rover Circle 08. The Rovers carried the Philippine Flag and San Jose City Division Flag with discipline, pride, and integrity, setting a powerful and respectful tone for the entire event.

The Alternative Learning System Graduation Ceremony was successfully held on July 09, 2026 at KC Hall, Malasin, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. With the theme “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno ng may Kakayahan at Kabutihang Pagkatao” we celebrate the dedication and achievements of our ALS learners. This meaningful event was conducted on behalf of the Rover Scout Circle 08 of San Jose City National High School - Senior High School, honoring graduates who are now prepared to lead with skill, integrity, and service to the community. The Rover Scouts of San Jose City National High School, together with the Youth Formation Organizations (YFOs), participated in HIRAYA: A Forum on Mental Health, Sexual Health, and HIV Awareness held on June 20, 2026 at Continental Hall, Brgy. Tulat, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.

The forum, organized by the Sulong Youth Movement and endorsed through the Schools Division Office of San Jose City, aimed to provide learners with accurate information and promote informed decision-making on mental health, sexual health, and HIV awareness. Through engaging discussions and learning sessions, participants gained deep understanding that support responsible citizenship, healthy lifestyles, and holistic youth development.

This activity reflects the commitment of the Rover Scouts and YFOs to promoting awareness, leadership, and personal growth among the youth while encouraging informed choices for a brighter future.

Rover Circle 08 of San Jose City National High School extends its highest commendation to John Ivan L. Apiado, John Rey J. Apiado, John Rayne P. Valdez, and Albert A. Baltazar of Rover Circle 09 upon their investiture with the Gallantry and Heroism Award - Bronze Medal of Honor. This award recognizes more than action under pressure; it recognizes character revealed in decisive moments. It is conferred only when courage, presence of mind, and selfless service converge to protect life and uphold the dignity of others.

The ceremony took place on June 16, 2026 at the Sangguniang Panglungsod, San Jose City, a venue befitting the gravity of your achievement. Before leaders, public servants, and the community, your conduct stood as proof that the Scout Oath and Law are not words we recite, but standards we live. United in patriotism and pride, participants came together to honor the sacrifices and courage of the Filipino heroes whose dedication paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.

The ceremony served as a reminder that independence is more than a historical milestone—it is a responsibility shared by every Filipino. As the Philippine flag was raised, it symbolized our nation's resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment to progress. Through this simple yet significant gathering, we reaffirmed our love for country and our duty to uphold the values of freedom, respect, and service.

School Year 2026-2027

June 08, 2026, San Jose City National High School held the first flag raising ceremony for School Year 2026-2027. Under clear skies, our students, teachers, and staff gathered as one community to open the school year with respect and purpose. After the successful conclusion of Brigada Eskwela just days ago, our campus now stands ready — clean, repaired, and welcoming. This ceremony was more than a tradition. It was our shared pledge to begin the year with discipline, unity, and commitment to learning.

We begin this year carrying the same spirit that powered Brigada Eskwela: bayanihan. To our teachers and staff who prepared lessons and learning spaces, to our parents and guardians who supported the effort, and to our partners who showed up to help — thank you. Your work made this strong start possible. To our students, both returning and new: you are the reason we do this. The flag we raise today represents integrity, respect, and responsibility. May we honor it not just on Mondays, but in every class, every project, and every choice we make.

As we move forward in SY 2026-2027, SJCNH-SHS remains committed to developing learners who are academically capable and socially responsible. Great school years are built one day, one lesson, one act of service at a time. Let this first flag raising remind us that our best work starts now. Welcome back, and welcome to SJCNH-SHS.
