was established in June 2010 with partnership and technical support of CHILDFund Philippines. CHILDInitiative is a child-focused, non-profit and disability-inclusive organization aims to protect and empower children, youth and their communities in the most marginalized situations in the Philippines. Currently, CHILDInitiative works in 1 region, 3 provinces, 3 cities/municipalities and in
45 communities with 44,000 total participant reach including children, youth, parents, community members and stakeholders. CHILDInitiative delivers age and developmentally appropriate, inclusive, contextualized, gender and culturally sensitive and holistic programs with focus on children with disabilities, children in natural hazards, children in urban and rural poor situations and LGBTQI children and youth. In general, CHILDInitiative impact groups belong to 0-5 years old, 6-14 years old and 15-24 years old focusing on the following children’s situation on deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability:

TARGET GROUPS
In life stage 1, the following are the target groups: pregnant women, lactating mothers and caregivers of children from zero (0) to five (5) years old, service providers, ECD worker like Day Care Worker, SNP Facilitators, barangay health workers and barangay nutrition scholars and local institutions providing services for integrated early childhood care and development. In life stage 2, the following are the target groups: teachers, school heads, local school board, school governing council, parents-teachers association, children associations, local council for the protection of children, child protection committee and other service providers working on child protection and basic education. In life stage 3, the following are the target groups: youth associations, youth facilitators, parents, caregivers and other service providers working on child protection, youth participation, and adolescent sexual reproductive health, among others. In community-cross cutting programs, the following are the target groups: local council for the protection of children, local disaster risk reduction offices, disabled people’s organization, advocacy groups, civil society organizations, partners, and other service providers related to the implementation of the project.
