KKDAT President Sitti Laarni M. Tom, together with SK Chairperson Hon. Sara Mae M. Tom, conducted a re-echo session on March 21, 2026, for the youthโparticularly the NSTP students of DORSUโSICโfollowing their participation in the SEA THE FUTURE: Advocacy Workshop Camp to Save the Oceans held in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
The session served as an avenue to share the knowledge, insights, and experiences they gained from the workshop, highlighting the importance of marine conservation, youth leadership, and active community involvement. More than a simple discussion, it became a meaningful exchange that encouraged fellow students to take part in environmental protection and community-driven initiatives.
As proud San Isidroans, they emphasized the significance of protecting the municipalityโs marine resources. With its beautiful coastal areas and growing tourist destinations, the sea remains one of San Isidroโs greatest assets one that must be preserved not only for its natural beauty but also for the livelihoods and future of the community.
This initiative reflects the commitment of young leaders to bring back what they have learned and share it with others turning knowledge into collective action for a better and more sustainable community.
Sincere appreciation is extended to France Volontaires Philippines, the National Youth Volunteer Coalition, Vice Mayor Hon. Sherlyn Marcojos-Casama, MSKF Christiejay Del Campo, SK Chairperson Hon. Sara Mae M. Tom, Rolando C. Manotoc Jr., RP, Ma. Kasandra Jane Mahinay-Garcia (LYDO Designate), and Nanettle L. Repalpa of France Volontaires for their continued support and encouragement in making both the participation and re-echo activity possible. โค๏ธ
