MANILA, PH - Higit umanong inilalarawan ang administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa "ITIM" campaign ad ni Senadora Imee Marcos, ayon sa Malacañang.

"Unang-una meron silang sinabi 'Itim ngayon ang kulay ng bansa, Sa gutom at krimen nagluluksa'," giit ni Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro sa press briefing ngayong Martes Santo.

Kahit aniya ang paglalarawan na 'itim' ang sitwasyon ng gutom ay kabalintunaan dahil public data ang magsasabing mali ito.

Sa halip, sa pagpasok ng pamununo ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ay nagsimula na ang pagliwanag ng takbo ng bansa, ayon kay Castro.

Aniya "hindi pa man ganun kaputi pero patungo na dun."

Sa "ITIM" political ad ni Sen. Imee ay pormal na syang inendorso sa eleksyon ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

BATANES, PH - Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, deployed PCG Islander 4177 off the coast of Batanes to monitor and challenge the Chinese research vessel "ZHONG SHAN DA XUE."

Commodore Jay Tarriela, PCG Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, said in a statement on Tuesday that the crew of the PCG Islander attempted to establish radio communication with the vessel multiple times, but there was no response.

PCG aviators, he said, underscored on their radio challenge that the said Chinese vessel lacks the authority to conduct marine scientific research within the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Philippines.

Tarriela emphasized that the activities of Zhong Shan Da Xue constitute a clear violation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the Philippine Maritime Zones Act.

At approximately 8 AM, the PCG Islander detected the Chinese research vessel at coordinates Lat 21°18.457 N, Long 123°12.281, roughly 78.21 nautical miles northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
