ASPIRING HOA BOARD OF DIRECTOR
Hello Neighbors – Let’s Make Our Community Thrive
I’ve called this neighborhood home for [4 years], and every day I see how much we care about where we live. As aspiring board of director , I’ll focus on four core goals to make our community cleaner, safer, more connected, and fully transparent.
MY FOUR COMMITMENTS TO YOU
1. KEEP OUR COMMUNITY CLEAN
"Cleanliness is next to Godliness"
- Regular Cleanup Drives: Organize quarterly community cleanups (with snacks and small rewards!) to tackle common areas, sidewalks, and green spaces.
- Upgrade Waste Management: Push for sealed, labeled bins in every block, plus a dedicated drop-off spot for recyclables and hazardous items (like batteries or paint).
- Prevent Litter & Pests: Work with our waste vendor to adjust collection schedules as needed, and install signs to remind everyone to dispose of trash properly.
- My Promise: I’ll lead by example and join every cleanup myself.
2. BOOST COMMUNITY SAFETY
Our families deserve peace of mind.
- Enhance Common Area Security: Advocate for well-lit pathways, working CCTV cameras in high-traffic spots (like Entrance and parking areas), and regular checks of locks on community facilities.
- Launch Neighborhood Watch Support: Help organize and promote our watch group with clear communication channels for reporting concerns.
- Safety Workshops: Partner with local barangay or police to host sessions on fire safety, first aid, and home security tips.
- My Promise: I’ll check security points monthly and share updates with all homeowners.
3. STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY CONNECTIVITY
Let’s turn neighbors into friends.
- Upgrade Digital Tools: Launch a simple HOA mobile app or revamp our Facebook group to share news, event updates, and allow easy communication between residents.
- Host Regular Gatherings: Plan monthly activities like weekend potlucks, kids’ playdates, or senior coffee hours to bring us all together.
- Create a "Neighbor Help Network": Set up a system for residents to share skills (like gardening or tech help) or lend a hand to those in need.
- My Promise: I’ll make sure no one feels left out – we’ll reach out to families who may not use social media too.
4. ENSURE FULL TRANSPARENCY
You have a right to know how our HOA works.
- Clear, Timely Updates: Send weekly text/email blasts with meeting recaps, budget details, and project timelines – no jargon, just plain talk.
- Open Access to Information: Post all HOA documents (budgets, vendor contracts, rules) on our community portal, and make physical copies available at the HOA Office.
- "Ask Me Anything" Sessions: Hold monthly 30-minute slots (in-person or online) where you can ask me any question about the HOA – no topic off-limits.
- My Promise: I’ll never hide decisions or costs – transparency is non-negotiable.
Why Trust Me?
I’ve already volunteered with our cleanup team and helped organize last year’s basketball league– I know the work it takes to build a strong community. With my background in School Parent and Teachers Association President 2023-24, School Governing Council President (2023-2025) Calulut Integrated High School, I’ll make sure we follow through on every commitment.
Let’s build a community we love coming home to.
