Dean, Institute of Criminal Justice Studies โ Criminology Department
Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC)
๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐จ๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ., ๐๐๐๐ does not just teach criminologyโhe writes its future. A Registered Criminologist from Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, he is the author of the internationally published book โThe Research Methods in Criminologyโ (ISBN No. 978-621-509-126-2), a testament to his commitment to knowledge production from one of the countryโs most geographically remote yet richly cultured provinces. As Dean of the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies โ Criminology Department at TRAC, he is not merely an administrator; he is an architect of research culture, fostering innovation, academic excellence, and scholarly productivity among both faculty and students in a region that deserves equal access to world-class criminological education.
His rise from practitioner to academic leader is fueled by relentless pursuit of expertise. ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐จ๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ., ๐๐๐๐ is currently in the Comprehensive Examination stage of his Doctor of Philosophy in Criminology at the Philippine College of Criminology in Manila. He holds certifications as a Forensic Questioned Document Examination Practitioner and Forensic Photography Practitioner, with specialized training in Advanced Legal Medicine and Integrating Forensic Science and Investigative Techniques. He is also a Certified Gun Safety Instructor and Range Officer, demonstrating competence in fi****ms handling, safety protocols, and marksmanship training. In a rare and remarkable achievement, he completed the rigorous Shariโah Training Seminar conducted by the Supreme Court of the Philippines through the Philippine Judicial Academy in collaboration with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinosโequipping him to understand justice through the lens of Islamic law and cultural context.
An active researcher and scholar, ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐จ๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ., ๐๐๐๐ regularly serves as a research panelist and adviser to undergraduate students, shaping the next generation of criminologists from the ground up. His professional affiliations include the Federation of Authors in Criminal Justice, Inc., the Forensic Science Practitioners of the Philippines, Inc., the Philippine Association for Forensic and Legal Linguistics, the Professional Organization of Researchers and Educators of the Philippines, Inc., the International Congress of Innovation-Based Educators and Researchers, Inc., and the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP). His academic interests bridge forensic science, criminal investigation, and the integration of legal and linguistic analysisโa rare and valuable interdisciplinary approach.
๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐จ๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ., ๐๐๐๐ is proof that excellence does not require a Manila address. From the islands of Tawi-Tawi, he has authored an internationally published book, earned national certifications, completed Supreme Court-level training in Shariโah, and built a research culture where none existed before. He does not wait for resources to arriveโhe creates them. He does not follow the pathโhe paves it for every Bangsamoro learner who dreams of becoming a criminologist, a forensic expert, or a scholar. In a region often defined by its challenges, he has chosen to be defined by his contributions. And that is the very definition of transformative leadership.
