𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐑𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞, 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠

Last Wednesday, April 22, 2026, two DOERs—𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐓. 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐚—joined a beach cleanup in Baccuit Norte, Bauang. The event was spearheaded by the 𝙅𝙑 𝙊𝙣𝙜𝙥𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙘. 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙮 2026, 𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 "𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣" 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩. They joined 80 volunteers led by officials from Barangay Baccuit Norte and MENRO-Bauang.

True environmental progress begins with the everyday actions of individuals and communities. Local initiatives like these are transformative because they highlight the power of active community participation. Reducing waste and practicing sustainability are more than just global goals; they are collective responsibilities we can all embrace.

Let us continue to lead by example and inspire others to protect our environment.

In celebration of the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, our DOERs Inc., President and Vice President, 𝙁𝙚𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣, recently brainstormed with visual artist 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤 and bird aficionado 𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙨𝙤.

Their collaboration is part of the exciting preparations for our upcoming event. Stay tuned for the culmination of this activity in the last week of May 2026!

𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫; 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬. 🌍✨

From April 15 to April 22, our dedicated volunteers have been out in the field every single day for our Daily Trash Hunts. While the world stops to celebrate 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 "𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙧𝙨" 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩.

This Earth Day, we want to remind everyone that you don’t need a massive platform to make a massive difference. You just need to start—right where you are, as you are, and with what you have.

The smallest actions often create the deepest roots:
• Pick up a piece of trash while you’re out for a walk.
• Plant a single seed in a pot or your backyard.
• Teach the next generation to love and respect the wild things around them.

Change doesn’t always happen through one person doing everything perfectly; it happens when enough of us care just a little. When those "littles" come together, they become a lot.

Let’s keep doing the work, one small act at a time. Happy Earth Day from your DOERs family! 🩵

MOA SIGNING & SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT
𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫, one of the Board of DOERs Inc., together with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐌. 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨, JCI Saluyot President, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last April 19, 2026 at ABC Hall City of San Fernando, La Union for deeper partnership and collaboration towards stewardship, conservation, and preservation of Mother Earth.

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 12 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲
WEEKLY TRASH HUNT at Brgy. Taberna, Bauang, La Union ; 25 volunteers 80 kgs of garbage

3 volunteers from DOERs, and 22 others from the group of ma'am Veronica Pulanco, Brgy officials of Taberna, Bauang and Project Allen join forces for the beach cleanup in Taberna, Bauang last Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The beach shoreline of Taberna is turning out to be a spot for beach goers. In the short span of time that we were there, throngs of beach lovers troop to the area. Business is thriving and opportunities for livelihood are promising. However, the sands are peppered with litters and you can see from afar that garbages are all over the place. The cleanliness of the place need to be maintained to lure more tourists and locals into the area. Touristy or not, the beach need to be clean and safe.

Responsible entreprenership though should be observed in the area to keep things going and moving.

This marks their 12th consecutive week, during which they were able to collect almost a 80 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙝—a clear testament that small, consistent actions create meaningful impact.

This is how real change begins: when communities take ownership, show up regularly, and turn inspiration into action. We are truly proud to see more locals stepping up and choosing consistency over convenience.

The environment is not just for humans—it is also home to our pets and other animals. Creating a safe and suitable environment means protecting them from hazards and ensuring they have clean, secure, and healthy spaces to thrive.

In partnership with the 𝐒𝐌𝐋𝐔 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐔, DOERs Inc. successfully conducted a trash hunting activity along the coastlines of Brgy. Dalumpinas Oeste and Lingsat, City of San Fernando, La Union, last April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday).

A total of 80 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙚 were collected through the collective efforts of our volunteers:
6 from the SMLU Pets and Furparents Community
1 from ATIN LU
7 from DOERs
