We are pleased to invite you to the 10th Mining Engineers’ Convention (MinECon 2026), taking place on June 9–12, 2026, at the beautiful Costa Palawan in Puerto Princesa, Palawan! 🌴

Guided by this year’s theme, “Engineering the Future: Sustainable Minerals for a Resilient Nation,” the convention will gather industry experts and stakeholders for an engaging and insightful program that includes:

🔹 Technical Sessions presenting recent studies, innovations, and industry practices
🔹 Forum Discussions exploring current issues, regulations, and future directions in mining
🔹 Exhibit Area featuring modern technologies, machinery, and specialized services
🔹 Professional Networking to build connections with colleagues and industry leaders
🔹 Fellowship Activities designed to encourage collaboration and strengthen professional ties

This convention is open to mining engineers, geologists, metallurgists, educators, government representatives, students, and anyone committed to advancing responsible and sustainable mining practices.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Engr. Alexis F. Baligod, an inspiring figure, mentor, and respected colleague in the field of Mining. He was known not only for his expertise and dedication to the profession, but also for his kindness and the guidance he generously offered to many. Engr. Baligod’s legacy lives on through the people he inspired and the work he supported.
He left us on November 22, 2025, but his legacy of passion will live on. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he impacted.
May his soul rest in peace🕊️
