𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐃 | His Holiness Pope Francis has returned to the House of the Father today Easter Monday.

All Masses starting today April 21 until his funeral day must be offered for his eternal repose. The Easter Octave prayers and readings are to be used at Mass. At the Eucharistic Prayer his name will not be mentioned in the prayer for the Church but in the memento for the dead.

The Archdiocesan Mass for the Departed Pope will be on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at three o’clock in the afternoon at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Araw ng Kagitingan, the day of valor that commemorates the fall of Bataan to Japanese soldiers on World War II, April 09, 1942. Where the bravery of Filipino and American troops fought against the Japanese forces.

Executive Order No. 203, declared April 9 as “Araw ng Kagitingan” and Proclamation No. 466 designated April 5-11 as “Philippine Veterans Week”, that promotes patriotism and love of country. A national observance that honors the sacrifice of our fellow Filipinos and the allied American soldiers.

When thousands of soldiers and months of defending our country, who endured the ‘Bataan Death March’, where they walked miles in scorching heat of the Sun, with no or little food or water.

Continuing to inspire generations, celebrating the strength and patriotism that these heroes symbolize. A milestone that serves a reminder of the power of resilience in the face of adversity.

On behalf of the PMMA Corps of Midshipmen, we call every Filipino to live with courage and serve with utmost dedication, upholding the sacrifices of those who fought for the nation’s liberty.
