With grateful hearts, we celebrate a journey of faith, care, and commitment for our Common Home. Through every seed planted, every life touched, and every action inspired, we continue to witness that small steps of love and stewardship can create a greater transformation.

May we continue to walk together as one community, nurturing the Earth, uplifting one another, and building a future where harmony among God, people, and creation flourishes.

Each year, we celebrate our anniversary with hearts full of gratitude - not only for the journey of Lunhaw Integral Ecology Ministry but also for the gift of life and mission of Bishop Gerry, as he celebrates his 67th birthday, his 18th Episcopal Anniversary, and together with the Feast Day of St. John Mary Vianney. For us, this beautiful alignment is a grace-filled reminder of how God weaves every moment with purpose and meaning.

As Lunhaw celebrates 6 years of nurturing ecology ministers dedicated to caring for our Common Home, we look back with humble hearts and see how far we have journeyed. From small and simple beginnings, we have witnessed how little concrete steps can create a greater impact for creation and for communities.

Bishop Gerryโ€™s 67 years of life and 18 years of episcopal service stand as a testament to a life offered in faith, love, and mission. His passion for the environment, his dedication to the Church, and his commitment to serving Godโ€™s people continue to inspire us to embrace our own calling toward holiness - to become saints through the mission entrusted to us.

Today, we celebrate six beautiful years of fruitful and dedicated service. Hope is present. Lunhaw continues to grow. The spirit of Laudato Siโ€™ and Ubuntu lives through the Integral Ecology Ministry, transforming the inspirations and dreams of those who stand for our Common Home into meaningful actions.

May we continue this journey of caring for creation, living the Gospel of ecological conversion, and becoming stewards of the beautiful world entrusted to us. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š

Our symbol for 2026 - Immersion in Living Water - is a symbol of
renewal and birth: water flowing from the Temple as a sign of Godโ€™s
caring and healing for us. We are called to step into the water, until we
are so deep that we must depend on Godโ€™s grace to sustain us. Those
who receive this water are invited to become sources of life for others,
allowing Godโ€™s love to flow through them into the world. And thus the
water of God will become in us โ€œa spring of water welling up to eternal
lifeโ€
, as Jesus promised (John 4:14).
The Symbol invites Christians to a spiritual immersion - praying
together while contemplating water from rivers, sources, fountains,
baptismal fonts, lakes and sea, inspired by the Spirit of God, working
together for the renewal of Creation.
This Symbol also urges us to dive into the โ€œtearsโ€ of creation (Romans
8:22-23), by allowing our hearts to be touched by the suffering of our
brothers and sisters. Indeed, the Season of Creation is also an
appropriate time for fraternal closeness and solidarity with the
vulnerable and the poor, chiefly those who suffer from environmental
degradation. We can learn from their stories, from their resilience, from
their commitment, and together keep hope alive.
