𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 | 𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐌 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝟓-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚

Hospitality Management interns from Pangasinan State University - San Carlos City Campus once again brought pride to the campus after receiving recognition during their internship deployment at the 5-star Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts in Pasay City on April 30, 2026.

Mr. John Patrick B. Ferrer and Mr. Ralfh R. Calugay were conferred the Ownership Award for their performance and contribution during their training assignment at the hotel.

Meanwhile, Ms. Kristine T. Bolo was recognized for her outstanding performance in delivering reliable, guest-friendly service.

This marks the second time PSUSC Hospitality Management interns have received recognition from Hilton Manila, further showcasing the quality of training and professionalism demonstrated by PSU San Carlos students in the hospitality industry.

Guiding the students throughout their internship engagement is Mr. Jessie A. Padlan, Hospitality Management Department Chairperson and internship adviser.

Sending their congratulations to the awardees were Campus Executive Director Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, CHMBAC Dean Dr. Josephine D. Reyes, and Internship Coordinator Dr. Charmaine P. Pintes, who recognized the interns for bringing distinction to the campus through their performance at one of the country’s premier hospitality establishments.

Last May 5, the PSU San Carlos community witnessed a flavorful and exciting culinary celebration during the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 as part of 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐢: 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚’𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐨. 👩‍🍳🍴

The crowd was treated to an entertaining and inspiring cooking showdown between Julier “Ayoy” C. Resuello and Gudelia M. Samson, proving that food truly brings people together through culture, creativity, and shared experiences. 💙💛

Adding more excitement to the event, the talented BTLEd students showcased their culinary skills and innovation during the Cookfest Competition, highlighting local flavors and proudly incorporating products inspired by San Carlos City. 🌾✨

The Hospitality Management Department together with JHELy_Beans proudly shares this memorable celebration of food, talent, and community spirit led by JHEL President Ken Guiling under the guidance of Jessie A. Padlan, with advisers Miriam T. Claudio and Milagrosa Malicdem. 👏🎉

Truly, it was more than just cooking — it was a showcase of passion, heritage, teamwork, and the future of culinary excellence. 🍽️🔥
