The College of Hospitality Management San Carlos Campus - Extension & Community Service successfully conducted Project YAMAN ISLA: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮, 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 on July 28–30, 2026, in partnership with the San Carlos City Tourism Office.

The three-day extension program brought together the dedicated members of SETWA (Sipaway Eco-tourism Workers Association) and SIOSA (Sipaway Island Overnight Shed Association), equipping them with valuable knowledge and practical skills in College of Hospitality Management, culinary arts, tourism, and sustainable livelihood development.

Through collaboration, learning, and community engagement, Project YAMAN ISLA reaffirms the commitment of the College of Hospitality Management to empower local communities, strengthen tourism initiatives, and promote sustainable economic opportunities for the people of Sipaway Island.

Together, we continue building resilient communities and creating a brighter, more sustainable future through education, partnership, and service.

On July 15, 2026, the College of Criminal Justice Education – Research and Extension Program of CPSU San Carlos Campus, in partnership with TL Mabuhay Driving Lesson Academy Inc., successfully conducted a consultative meeting at the Local Youth Office, San Carlos City for the implementation of Project SAFE-Ride Batch 2.

The meeting focused on program updates, schedules, and collaborative planning to ensure the successful rollout of the project's second batch. Through the continued support of our partners, we remain committed to promoting responsible riding, road safety awareness, and empowering the youth through quality driving education.

Together, we move one step closer to building a safer and more responsible community.

The College of Criminal Justice Education – Extension and Community Services, in partnership with the Local Youth Development Council of San Carlos City, proudly brings back Project SAFE-Ride (Safe And Formalized Education-Riding) this Wednesday, April 15, 3:00 PM at CPSU–San Carlos (New Building).

This initiative promotes responsible driving and supports motorcycle owners in obtaining their driver’s license.

• Free Theoretical Driving Course (for Student License)
• 50% OFF Practical Driving Course (for Driver’s License)

Open to all youth, CPSU students, faculty, staff, and outsiders (limited slots per batch).

As we reach the culmination of this meaningful journey, the remarkable growth of the young learners shines through their confidence, creativity, and active participation in every activity.

Through weeks of engaging storytelling sessions and interactive learning experiences, our dedicated BEED students have successfully fulfilled their roles as facilitators, leaving a lasting and positive impact in the Day Care Centers of Barangay Guadalupe. The connections built and lessons shared truly embody the spirit of service, compassion, and education.

As Project READS concludes, we celebrate not only the knowledge gained but also the memories created and the lives touched along the way. This journey reminds us that even the simplest stories can inspire, empower, and shape young minds for a brighter future.
