IMMERSION IN LIVING WATER | LAUDATO SIโ PILGRIMAGE 2026๐ฟ๐ง
โWherever the river flows, every living creature that swarms will liveโฆ and everything will live where the river goes.โ โ Ezekiel 47:9
This Season of Creation 2026, the Diocese of San Carlos journeys together in faith, hope, and ecological conversion.
From September 1 to October 24, 2026, the Laudato Siโ Pilgrimage of the Lunhaw Inspired Youth Cross with St. Francis of Assisi and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will bring three sacred symbols of our shared mission to the corners of our Diocese:
The Lunhaw Inspired Youth Cross - a sign of Christ, youth missionary discipleship, hope, and our commitment to Integral Ecology.
St. Francis of Assisi - Patron of Ecology, reminding us of joyful simplicity, fraternity with all creation, and faithful stewardship.
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - our maternal companion, leading us closer to Christ, the Living Water who renews all creation.
As these sacred symbols journey from one vicariate to another, they carry with them the prayers, hopes, commitments, and ecological mission of our local Church. Like the living water in Ezekiel's vision, may God's grace flow into every community - renewing hearts, restoring relationships, and inspiring concrete action for our Common Home. ๐๐ฑ

The pilgrimage will gather the Diocese in thanksgiving, bringing together the fruits of our prayers, ecological commitments, and concrete actions for creation.
Each vicariate is invited to make the pilgrimage a living experience of PRAYER โข FORMATION โข COMMUNION โข ACTION through Eucharistic celebrations, Laudato Siโ catechesis, youth encounters, tree-growing, clean-up drives, biodiversity initiatives, waste reduction, and other ecological actions responding to local needs.
One Diocese. One Journey. One Common Home.
May we immerse ourselves in the Living Water of Christ, allowing His grace to flow through usโfrom our hearts, to our communities, and into all creation.
Let the pilgrimage flow. Let faith become mission. Let prayer become action. Let creation live. ๐ฟ๐ง
