𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞?

The 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧) is a volunteer-based emergency response organization dedicated to strengthening the disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities of the Municipality of San Andres. Composed of trained volunteers from different barangays, SACERT serves as a vital community support force during emergencies such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, fires, and other crises—working closely with local authorities and response agencies to help protect lives and communities.

As community volunteers, we believe preparedness saves lives. Our team continuously promotes disaster awareness, emergency readiness, volunteerism, and community resilience through training, education, and active response efforts.

This 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 2026 aims to train and equip passionate young individuals who aspire to become future emergency responders and community volunteers—ready to serve when disaster strikes.

This orientation is open to everyone who wants to learn about emergency response, first aid, and how to become a volunteer responder in our barangay.

MERT (Manambrag Emergency Response Team) would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to MDRRMO San Andres and SACERT for providing Trauma Kit Bags and essential trauma care supplies to strengthen emergency response capabilities in our municipality.

We are truly honored and grateful to share that MERT is one of the organizations selected to receive a trauma bag, which will greatly help our team in responding to various emergencies such as severe bleeding, fractures, burns, and other life-threatening situations within our community.
