🚨 EMPOWERING COMMUNITY RESPONDERS, SAVING LIVES!❤️‍🩹

The San Andres Community Emergency Response Team (SACERT) successfully conducted the ONE-DAY EMERGENCY FIRST AID TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY RESPONDERS on August 29, 2026, held at the Calolbon Public Library, San Andres, Catanduanes.

This meaningful training was made possible through the partnership of the San Andres Community Emergency Response Team (SACERT) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of San Andres.

🩺 The goal was simple but powerful: equip ordinary community members with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to respond during the critical first moments of an emergency.

Through hands-on discussions and practical first aid learning, our community responders were given the opportunity to strengthen their ability to provide immediate assistance while waiting for professional medical help.

Because in an emergency, every second matters. Every skill matters. Every responder matters.

💪 Prepared communities are resilient communities.

SACERT remains committed to its mission of training, equipping, and mobilizing community volunteers so that San Andres can become a safer, more prepared, and disaster-resilient community.

Every successful emergency response begins with a dedicated team working together behind the scenes. Today, we are proud to introduce the individuals who make up the 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓) —a group of passionate volunteers committed to protecting lives, promoting disaster preparedness, and serving our community with compassion and professionalism.

Over the coming days, we will introduce the people who form the backbone of our organization, beginning with our Core Team, followed by our Directorate Team, and finally our Team Representatives. Each group plays a vital role in ensuring that SACERT remains prepared, organized, and ready to respond whenever emergencies arise.

🔹 Core Team – The leaders who guide the organization, set its direction, oversee operations, and ensure that our mission and values are upheld.

🔹 Directorate Team – The dedicated heads of our functional divisions who manage planning, training, logistics, communications, medical services, operations, administration, and other key programs that keep SACERT running effectively.

🔹 Team Representatives – The frontline volunteers and community leaders who represent SACERT across different barangays and sectors, helping strengthen community preparedness, coordinate local initiatives, and serve as the bridge between the organization and the people we protect.

Behind every training, emergency response, outreach activity, and community program is a team driven by one common purpose—to serve with integrity, respond with excellence, and make our community safer and more resilient.
