This malacañang party started only as a usual entertaining social affair but a different atmosphere arose when a suggestion of organizing a club which was initiated with the election of set of officers was raised.Then, it was secondly decided to call, this organization as Malacañang Youth Club or MYC. Natural disasters cannot be controlled and everybody has witnessed the tragic typhoon Rosing that
visited Sampaloc where many was drowned.We cannot control it, but we can make efforts to avoid the death of our fellows.In connections to this, the officers along with the members decided to sow seeds along the banks of the river in order to avoid soil erosion and also avoid the height of the river to become bigger. Of course top one, in this club's objective is for the youth's concern. And so, MYC would like to organize a mini youth foundation every vacation. This youth foundation will include games and sports like basketball, chess, volleyball, table tennis, etc. in order that the mind of the youth will be diverted away from the vices of drug addiction. MYC is not religion oriented nor a political system but this club was given birth to serve both men and women, youth and old to protect the social welfare of the youths of Sampaloc.
