Our young leaders are having an impactful 3-day journey at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall:

🌱 Day 1: Our CYP representatives began the summit with Session 1: Building Bridges, Connecting Ties, which focused on strengthening relationships and connections among young leaders. They then discovered their leadership strengths through Session 2: Knowing Your Type of Leadership and Introduction to Youth Leadership, followed by Session 3: Stress Management for Young Leaders, equipping them with valuable ways to manage pressure and responsibilities. The day concluded with Session 4: Sparking Initiatives and Introduction to Managing Projects, Programs, and Activities, inspiring our young leaders to turn ideas into meaningful initiatives and action. 💡🤝

⚖️ Day 2: Explored Gender-Sensitive Leadership and experienced a hands-on Mini Legislative Laboratory.

𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩

As part of its continuing advocacy to support and strengthen its partner schools, the SIMC Youth Laboratory Cooperative successfully conducted a Parliamentary Rules and Procedure Training for the Balet National High School – Supreme Student Learners Government (SSLG) on June 10, 2026, at Balet National High School.

Facilitated by Mr. Lloyd Vincent C. Reyes, the training equipped SSLG officers with essential knowledge and practical skills in parliamentary procedures, helping them conduct meetings more effectively, make informed decisions, and uphold transparency, order, and democratic participation within their organization. More than learning rules and protocols, the activity served as an opportunity to nurture leadership, teamwork, and responsible governance among student leaders.

This meaningful collaboration reflects the shared commitment of SIMC Youth Laboratory Cooperative and Balet National High School in developing competent, confident, and service-oriented young leaders who are prepared to make a difference.

Together, we empower youth. Together, we build future leaders.

𝗧𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

Today, we celebrate the women whose love never asks for anything in return. The ones who sacrificed silently, prayed endlessly, stayed strong during hard times, and loved us even at our worst. A mother’s love is the purest kind of love we will ever know — gentle, patient, selfless, and unconditional.

No words will ever be enough to thank every mother for the sleepless nights, silent tears, warm hugs, comforting words, and countless sacrifices made out of love. Behind every strong person is a mother who never gave up on them.

To all moms, thank you for being our safe place, our strength, and our home. You are deeply loved and appreciated more than you know.

In celebration of Earth Day 2026, a Coastal Clean-Up Drive was successfully conducted, spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of the Island Garden City of Samal through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.

The initiative gathered active participation from the SIMC Youth Laboratory Cooperative, alongside various stakeholders and government agencies, all united in a shared commitment to protect and preserve our coastal environment.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” the activity highlights the vital role of collective action in addressing environmental challenges and fostering sustainable communities. Through this meaningful endeavor, participants not only contributed to cleaner shorelines but also reinforced the value of environmental stewardship among the youth and the community.

Indeed, when people come together with purpose, small actions create lasting impact—for our planet and for future generations.

Last March 29, 2026, the newly elected Board of Directors and Committees of the SIMC Youth Laboratory Cooperative officially took their oath of office, administered by Mr. Glenn S. Garcia, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Regional Director at Peñaplata Central Elementary School. This meaningful ceremony was held in line with the 55th Annual General Assembly of the Samal Island Multipurpose Cooperative.

This milestone marks not just a transition of leadership, but a renewed commitment to service, responsibility, and cooperative values among the youth.

To all our newly sworn-in officers, may you lead with integrity, passion, and dedication. May your journey be guided by wisdom and unity as you inspire fellow youth and contribute to the continued growth of the cooperative.

This meaningful session strengthened participants’ knowledge on proper meeting conduct, decision-making, and organizational governance—ensuring that every voice is heard, every motion is guided, and every action is aligned with purpose.

More than just learning the rules, this activity builds disciplined leaders who can uphold order, transparency, and efficiency in every undertaking.
