On August 28, 2025, the College of Fisheries and Allied Sciences held the election of officers for the Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP). The event was conducted under the guidance of our dean and adviser, Dr. Abegail Gelantagaan, and was graced by the presence of Governor Romeno Pason. We also honored our former FLP President, Ms. Ara Coniendo, for her leadership and contributions to the organization. The election aimed to empower the next generation of leaders within the college, fostering a spirit of collaboration and innovation among students
The students were filled with excitement as they carefully chose their new leadersโa joy clearly reflected on their faces. Yet, alongside the smiles, there was also a deep sense of seriousness, for this election was not a mere formality. It carries with it a great responsibility and a commitment to serve the student body with dedication and purpose.
This moment marks not only the selection of officers but also the beginning of a shared journey toward leadership, service, and the continued advancement of the College of Fisheries and Allied Sciences.
