SUNN Peer Facilitators proudly participated in the NEGROS PEER ACTION SUMMIT 2026 held last April 11, 2026, at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Gymnasium a gathering that brought together passionate youth leaders and advocates committed to making a difference in their communities.

With this year’s inspiring theme, “Digital Minds, Human Connections: Creating Safe Spaces Through Peer Support in Modern Communities,” the summit served as a powerful reminder that while we live in an increasingly digital world, genuine human connection remains at the heart of meaningful change. Through engaging discussions, collaborative activities, and shared experiences, we were able to deepen our understanding of the importance of empathy, active listening, and responsible digital engagement.

Our participation in this event strengthened not only our knowledge but also our commitment as peer facilitators to become instruments of support, positivity, and inclusivity. We learned that creating safe spaces is not just a responsibility, but a continuous effort that requires compassion, awareness, and action both online and offline.

As we move forward, SUNN Peer Facilitators remain dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, encouraging open communication, and empowering fellow youth to stand up, speak out, and support one another. Together, we can build communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. 💙

The SUNN Peer Facilitators Guild proudly took part in the Festival of Youth 2026: Sinigayan Buzz — Connect, Celebrate, Join! 🎉

Held last March 14, 2026 at Sagay Public Plaza, this vibrant gathering during the 30th Sinigayan Festival brought together young leaders and changemakers in a celebration of unity, culture, and youth empowerment.

We are honored to connect, celebrate, and join this meaningful event—strengthening our commitment to service and leadership in the community.

We did it, and we couldn’t be prouder of us! 🥉✨
Our SUNN Peer Facilitators Guild proudly earned 3rd Place in the Community Trade Fair during PAGBANA-AG SUNN U-Week 2026 at State University of Northern Negros. This achievement is a reflection of our teamwork, creativity, and the countless hours we all poured into making our booth the best it could be.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the SUNN SSC for the support and for organizing such a meaningful and exciting event that gave student organizations like us the chance to showcase our efforts and talents.

A huge thank you to our amazing adviser, for guiding and supporting us throughout this journey. Your wisdom and encouragement made all the difference. We appreciate you!

A special thank you as well to President Rodmar E. Dela Cruz of SPFG for the leadership, guidance, and dedication that kept us motivated from planning until the final setup. And of course, to all the members of SPFG, this win belongs to all of us your hard work, cooperation, and commitment truly made the difference.

To everyone who grabbed our products, spread the word about our booth, came over to chat, and stood by us from day one to the final day we truly appreciate you. Your kindness, enthusiasm, and constant support gave us the energy to keep going through every long and hectic moment.

The SUNN Peer Facilitators Guild is beyond grateful for everyone who visited, supported, and showed love to our booth during PAGBANA-AG SUNN U-Week 2026 at State University of Northern Negros from January 19–23, 2026.

To everyone who bought our products, shared our booth with friends, dropped by to say hi, and supported us from day one until the last day, thank you so much. Your support, encouragement, and smiles truly kept us going despite the long days and busy hours.

Because of you, our booth experience became more than just a display, it became a space filled with connection, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. We appreciate each and every one of you who made this journey special for us.

The 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 (𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗡) stands in solidarity with our fellow Negrosanons affected by 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗼, particularly in Canlaon City and the Municipality of La Castellana. 🌧️💚

Through the “𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗚: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗺, 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻” Donation Drive, conducted in partnership with the SUNN Extension Office headed by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐨, the Council aims to extend compassion and tangible aid to those in need.

Beginning Monday, November 17, 2025, donation drop-off stations will be established across the three campuses — Main Campus (Brgy. Rizal), Old Sagay Campus, and Escalante Campus — to collect rice, canned goods, bottled or potable water, and hygiene kits. An online donation platform via GCash will also be available for those wishing to contribute digitally.

This initiative embodies SUNN’s BRIGHT values, particularly Resilience, while advancing the “𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗡-𝗨𝗣” agenda through Extension and Linkages. It also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (𝐒𝐃𝐆s) — Zero Hunger (𝐒𝐃𝐆 2 ), Clean Water and Sanitation (𝐒𝐃𝐆 6), and Sustainable Cities and Communities (𝐒𝐃𝐆 11). 🌍✨

Together, let us shine brighter in service, compassion, and solidarity as one SUNN community. ☀️🤝
