The Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Roxas successfully conducted its 33rd Regular Meeting today, bringing together our SK Chairpersons to discuss important matters, strengthen coordination, and advance programs and initiatives for the Kabataang Roxaseño! ✊🤙

During the meeting, the Federation approved and adopted four (4) resolutions on mass motion, covering important matters for youth development, sports, recognition, and organizational identity:

📌 Resolution establishing the Roxas Sangguniang Kabataan Outstanding Awards to recognize exemplary SK Chairpersons, SK Councils, and outstanding youth programs, projects, and activities.

📌 Resolution requesting financial assistance from the Municipal Government of Roxas through the office of Hon. Mayor Jerwin S. Dimapilis, to support the prizes and recognition for the Roxas Sangguniang Kabataan Awards.

📌 Resolution requesting the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro, through the Office of Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor, to reconsider the exclusion of qualified group events from the Provincial Sports Meet 2026, in recognition of the efforts, development, and welfare of student-athletes.

📌 Resolution adopting and declaring the Official Logo of the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, and providing for its official use and guidelines.

The Federation also discussed the FY 2027 Annual Budget, the SK Initial Inventory, the upcoming BIR Seminar, and the consolidation of inactive SK Councilors to address quorum concerns in coordination with the DILG.🤙

We also shared two forward-looking initiatives: the upcoming SKMF Digital System for greater transparency and youth participation, and a school-based, youth-centered mental health empowerment initiative that will be carefully planned and developed.🫶

Isang malaking karangalan para sa ating bayan! Buong pagmamalaki nating ipinagdiriwang ang tagumpay ng San Mariano National High School matapos nilang tanghaling CHAMPION sa BioTech for Reel Competition! 🥇

Mula sa mahigit 200 entries mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng Pilipinas, matagumpay na nakapasok ang San Mariano National High School bilang isa sa mga finalist at kalaunan ay itinanghal na kampeon sa kompetisyon.

Ang kanilang tagumpay ay ipinahayag sa awarding ceremony na bahagi ng hybrid forum na “Cultivating Resilience: A Forum on Ag-biotech Solutions for Climate-Smart Agriculture,” na ginanap ngayong September 24, 2026, sa DENR Multipurpose Hall, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.

Isang patunay na ang kabataang Roxaseño ay may talento, husay, at kakayahang makipagsabayan sa buong bansa!

Congratulations, San Mariano National High School! Ipinagmamalaki kayo ng buong Roxas! 🩷

Governor's Cup Intertown Volleyball Competition Official Screening of Roxas delegates held this morning at Viking Grill, Roxas. Maraming salamat po sa aming butihing Mayor Jerwin S. Dimapilis sa inyo pong suporta, sa amin pong Local Youth Develeopment Office sa pangunguna ng aming Sports Coordinator na si Sir Jake Madrial Sison, sa aming SK Federation sa liderato ni SK Sheikinah Grace C. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 🎙️📻

Our young aspiring broadcasters went from “Mic check, one, two, three!” to learning the real skills behind effective radio broadcasting—from proper delivery and communication to confidence, presence, and responsible storytelling. 📻🗣️

To all the schools, teachers, coaches, and students who participated, thank you so much for showing up, bringing your energy, and making this training extra meaningful! Your participation and enthusiasm made the event even more exciting. 🥹🫶

HUGE THANK YOU to Sir Julius Joachim Jose P. Cantos, professional journalist and newscaster, for being our speaker and for sharing your expertise, experiences, and practical tips with our young participants. Your stories and lessons definitely gave our youth a glimpse of what it takes to be a great broadcaster! 🙌

A day in the shoes of a public servant! 🇵🇭

What if, for one day, YOU got to experience what it’s like to be a government official? 👀

Finally! To wrap up our LNK 2026, our Junior Officials got to do just that! 🫶

From touring the Municipal Hall and different municipal offices, meeting our dedicated Department Heads, and seeing how government services happen behind the scenes—to learning how the Executive and Legislative Branches work together in serving the people. 🤝

They also got a firsthand look at local governance as they attended Committee Hearings and the Sangguniang Bayan Regular Session, where they witnessed discussions, deliberations, and decision-making in action. ⚖️

Today, they’re Junior Officials.
Tomorrow, they could be the leaders making a difference. 🇵🇭

To every young person out there, don’t just watch from the sidelines. Learn, speak up, get involved, and take part in building the community you want to see. Your voice matters, your ideas matter, and your time to lead starts NOW! 🔥
