The Roxas City School for Philippine Craftsmen โ€“ Senior Red Cross Youth Council proudly joined the observance of National Su***de Prevention Month through the meaningful activity โ€œ๐’€๐’‚๐’Œ๐’‚๐’‘ ๐’€๐’๐’–๐’•๐’‰.โ€

This initiative seeks to promote ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ข๐™ฅ๐™–๐™จ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ, ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™š๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š๐™ฃ ๐™จ๐™ค๐™ก๐™ž๐™™๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ, and ๐™ง๐™–๐™ž๐™จ๐™š ๐™ข๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ก ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ก๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™–๐™ฌ๐™–๐™ง๐™š๐™ฃ๐™š๐™จ๐™จ among our youth members. It is a reminder that in moments of struggle, a simple act of care can make a lasting difference.

Our Red Cross Youth members, together with the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Club, actively participated in the DENR Environmental Seminar, where they explored timely and relevant topics such as Philippine Biodiversity, Extinct and Endemic Animals in the Philippines, and Consumption vs. Sustainability. ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒฑ

The seminar emphasized how local actions can shape both health and the environment, inspiring the youth to become advocates of conservation, sustainability, and responsible stewardship of our natural resources. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™Œ

As highlighted by Forester Angelie D. Dela Peรฑa of DENR-PENRO Capiz, the key message remains clear: โ€œUNITE TO END CLIMATE CHANGE.โ€ ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The RCY volunteers actively participated in a Fire Drill and Symposium aimed at strengthening their knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness and emergency response.

This activity not only equipped our youth with the confidence to respond effectively during fire-related incidents but also instilled the values of discipline, awareness, and teamwork. Through continuous training and education, our RCY members are now more empowered to serve as role models and first responders within the community.
