TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Center for Youth Leadership, Training and Development
1. Leadership Training and Team Building Activities - This activity focuses on concepts and principles of leadership applicable to students and youths, employees in the corporate world, teachers, both in the public and private schools. Participants are exposed to different leadership
and team building principles, values re-orientation, work ethics, volunteerism and social involvement to become effective citizens of the country, service-oriented workers of companies and competitive teachers of the modern world. The program also inculcates values, national identity, nationalism and patriotism among the participants.
2. International Social Science Camp (ISSC) -BYLI believes that the Social Science Camp will provide avenues and opportunities for young people to develop their basic understanding of the different dynamic discipline of social sciences making them equipped with the knowledge and skills in becoming a socially aware, responsible and active students and citizens and set a ground for leadership development and for creating a community of young and responsible leaders of tomorrow. It started in 2013 as a region-wide camp but became an international program since 2014 to present.
3. International Summer Academy (ISA) - ISA, seeks to equip the youth with innovative skills, values and attitudes to become globally competitive by building their confidence in surm ounting the odds and challenges of the fast changing world. With ISA’s programs, their summer vacation will never be the same.
4. Debate Program / Workshop on Argumentation & Debate - To become an effective and efficient leader, one must be able to communicate his thoughts and ideas. Through a workshop, youths are exposed to various processes and methods to develop the skills in argumentation and debate.
5. BYLI believes that every individual in a democratic society should have the opportunity to express himself. Debate competition is one way of creating awareness among the youth on various issues confronting the society. A clash of ideas is highly encouraged to arrive at the best solution or decision.
6. Batang Capiznon Award: Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz - Launched in 2013 as a provincial wide award, TOSOC provides avenue to recognize students (secondary and tertiary) who have made exemplary performance in their studies and significant contribution to the advancement of student leadership and with deep sense of community involvement. It inculcates values formation and national identity through the Pag-ulopdanay – a leadership and team building formation. Finalists and awardees are organized as alumni community of outstanding students in Capiz through the TOSOC Circle.
7. Youth Consultancy - BYLI provides consultancy services to various youth organizations as to its formation, structure and other mechanisms and strategies.
8. Youth Organizing - As a youth oriented organization, BYLI is a leading organization that initiates various programs for the youth. It provides initiatives and opportunities that strengthen youth development and advocacy. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ADVOCACIES PROGRAM

3. Kilos Kabataan: Youth for Positive Change Project - Kilos Kabataan is a project proposal competition launched in 2016 as one of the activities of the

5. Lakbay Kabataan, Lakbay Pinas (promotion of and advocacy on local tourism) - A program designed to promote local tourism among Filipino youths. It is a way to be enticed with the beauty of the Philippines through natural tourism spots. No one should be a foreign to his own land.
6. Batang Maayonanon Award – A Program for the Outstanding Students in the Municipality of Maayon, Province of Capiz. - A municipal award program organized in 2011 to recognize the outstanding performance of graduating elementary and secondary students in their studies, contribution to student leadership, and deep sense of community involvement.
7. Outstanding Women of Capiz Awards (women empowerment and advocacy) - The search for the Outstanding Women of Capiz is another initiative of BYLI in its quest to continue to inspire the Capiznon youths through the Capiz women as models of integrity, courage, leadership, commitment and excellence in various fields of endeavor. Started in 2015, OWCA program seeks to institutionalize public recognition of selected Capiznon women whose exemplary achievements are worthy of emulation and whose selfless dedication to their profession have contributed to their countrymen and have manifested the time-honored traditions of excellence, hard work and nationalism in their respective fields. Further, the award is BYLI’s way of celebrating Women’s Month every March in the Province of Capiz and City of Roxas. RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

3. Volunteer Service Award - A recognition given to graduating volunteer leaders of BYLI community for the unselfish commitment, dedication and service to the successful implementation of the various programs of BYLI which contributed to the attainment of its vision, mission and goals of forming and empowering young leaders and building the nation.
4. Pagdayaw Award - Initiated in 2015 during the 6th Anniversary of BYLI, Pagdayaw Award is given to volunteer leaders of BYLI community who have passed licensure examinations as a manifestation of leadership and excellence, dedicated efforts to finish a degree and strict adherence to education as the key to greater heights.
5. Strategic Planning Seminar-Workshop - BYLI recognizes the importance of strategic planning in assisting youth organizations to formulate strategies, set and make decisions and plan for its activities. Sessions include the nature and challenges of an organization, SWOT Analysis and action planning.
6. Fellowship Night - An annual program designed for the reunion of and anniversary celebration for all members of BYLI community. It is also a thanksgiving program for all the successful activities of the preceding year. FINANCE MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING PROGRAM

PARTNERSHIP AND LINKAGES PROGRAM
1. Capiz Next Generation Leaders’ Alliance (CNGLA) and Capiz Next Generation Leaders’ Summit (CNGLS) - Launched in 2015, CNGLA and CNGLS are youth programs that aim to provide partnership, support and collaboration of different youth organizations in Capiz. The alliance served as a venue for Capiznon youths for youth empowerment, serve as platform for young people to develop awareness of and concern for social issues that confront the Province of Capiz and the nation and an opportunity collaborate through an alliance of Capiznon youth leaders who will be the next leaders of the Province of Capiz and the nation.
2. Capiz Young Leaders’ Alliance (CYLA) and Capiz Young Leaders’ Summit (CYLS) - CYLA serves as a venue for collaboration of students from private secondary schools in the Province of Capiz and City of Roxas. It is a platform for development of awareness and concern for social issues. It provides opportunity for leadership development. Its annual gathering is the summit.
3. Program for International Exchange of Youth (PIEY) in partnership with International Youth Fellowship – Philippines
4. PIEY is an international youth program which introduces youth and cultural exchange, international relations and diplomacy among the youths in partnership with the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) World Camp in South Korea and other international youth organizations.
5. Partnership with Asian Center of Education, Research and Tutelage for Innovation, Inc. (ACERT) BYLI and ACERT believes that collaborative efforts can be made to facilitate opportunities for academic, government, non-government, institutional and public discourse and undertakings that will lead to policy promotion, professional development and orientation towards a functional and well-coordinated community.
